I had dinner at Mario's on the evening of April 5th. There were three of us. Three excellent first courses, two delicious fresh grilled sea bream, the best I have ever eaten, salad, two bottles of water (in glass), a dessert, free fries with each course for the stratospheric sum of 40 euros. Familiar and welcoming environment, fast service, friendly staff. The only flaw: some dishes with frozen fish, but it is clearly indicated, just don't take them.... the rest of excellent quality. A stone's throw from the station. I didn't think places like this still existed. Amazed and happy to have found it. Compliments

Atmosphere "as it once was" in the good sense... polite but not pandering welcome. kindness but not flattery. Generous portions and excellent quality. Very good prices. The waiter of African origins was very kind, practical and professional. A nice surprise before taking a train and leaving Genoa

Very good, quality-price level is great, barely 20 euros for 2 people, marinière pasta, with 1 bottle of water and house wine. I recommend. On the other hand, there are a lot of people, try to book in advance.

You eat well and spend little!!!! Never seen so many people waiting outside for a table to become available. For us tourists a pleasant discovery!!! If we return to those parts, the trattoria da Mario will be an obligatory stop

If you stop in Genoa you have to go to Mario's. EVERYTHING TOP!!! From the welcome, to the service, exquisite food, at PRICES NEVER SEEN. A flagship of Liguria. My girlfriend and I are very happy to return 😍

Osteria vecchia maniera, spartaja e senza fronzoli sul servizio ma con un menu di carne e pesce in grado di soddisfare chiunque a prezzi più che onesti. Viavai di clienti e un po' di confusione l, grande cordialità dei dipendenti. Ah, se un piatto è pronto nessuna campanella ma il mestolo battuto su una pentola. Personale promosso

Una autentica trattoria di città nel cuore storico di Genova, cibi semplici ma buoni e saporiti, antipastini di crudi, grigliata di pesce , vino bianco in Verdicchio di Fazi, frutta per euro 20 a persona, da non credere. Consigliato anche per il clima da osteria una esperienza!

06/04/2024: I ate really well, the place was nice, well organized and the waiters were courteous. The food was excellent, nothing to say. I give 4 stars because I believe that in a tavern the portions should be a little more generous. Obviously mine is not a criticism, but precisely because it is all very good it would deserve a small topping up in portions. Thank you
02/04/2024: We were there on the Saturday evening before Easter, a true tasting of local foods executed in an exceptional manner, delicious fried panissa, truly delicious tagliatelle with seafood sauce, a truly excellent mixed fried dish that was then dry and crunchy, the service was attentive and friendly, they also satisfied two more of our requests without problems, value for money for what we ate was really excellent, we will definitely be back, highly recommended
