Came here by recommendation of a friend, and it was excellent. As per usual in most Italian Restaurants, for me as a vegetarian the options are not so plentiful but the Pasta I had were perfect, and the Artichoke before hand a perfectly prepared Roman classic.

While walking we were attracted by the window and with amazement they had a free table for the evening. Delightful staff and environment: few tables for a restaurant in the center which allow for an intimate meal. Traditional proposals but also off-menu choices.
The offal (starter and first course) is recommended.

I was not impressed. I expected so much more after watching YouTube videos of how great this place was. It was a let down. Even the Moscato tasted watered down. Disappointed!

Amazing meals, convenient location, friendly and highly professional service. We were very lucky that we could walk in on the day for lunch, however I would strongly recommend booking in advance.

Pedimos o famoso Saltimboca e estava muito gostoso. Os acompanhamentos você escolhe a parte. Pedimos batatas ao forno e a Salada Fantasia, ótimas opções. De sobremesa um tiramisu e uma mousse de chocolate com frutas vermelhas deliciosa. Fizemos reserva. Recomendo. Vale a pena.

Some places are famous for being famous. With due respect to Michelin and Stanley Tucci, you can do far better in plenty of other restaurants in town. There is nothing wrong with this restaurant that avoiding it doesn't solve. The restaurant business is tough, and I much prefer to write positive reviews. But sometimes a negative one is fully justified. For me, average is a failing grade. I respect that a family has run a restaurant for 60+ years. But when we both ate less than a quarter of our dishes and left them there, the fact that no one cared to ask why is unsatisfactory. We ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara and a Spaghetti with Black Truffles. We got a Rigatoni Amatriciana and the Truffled Pasta. The Amatriciana was mediocre and the Black Truffle (I am taking their word for it} was a powder, much like dried bottarga. That would never fly in Northern Italy or France, and on top of that, the spaghetti was under cooked. When I pointed out that we ordered a Carbonara, the waiter apologized and said he would get one for us, but it would take another 10-15 minutes. I said no, but they did bring us one to try, and it was decent, although not in a league with what we had the previous night. I understand that iconic dishes bring out strong opinions. But when you pay, and no one asks how your meal was, I assume they don't care.
