I went there for the first time with a friend for dinner. Truly quality food...we had an artichoke salad as a starter (very good), veal cheek with purée (sublime), Roman-style artichoke (very good) and a decomposed thousand leaves (very good). Infinite wine list with excellent products.
The waiter who served us was knowledgeable, polite and pleasant. The only small flaw is that the table is really too close to the one next to it.
Price in line with the quality of the dinner.
I'll be back

We return every time we are in Rome, so a
Lot! It’s the first restaraunt I visit each time I go.
Whilst the menu is great and the wine list extensive you can’t beat the pizza here, simply the best Rome has to offer.

At Francesco's everything is always delicious. I am now a very loyal customer. It is a historic restaurant near Piazza Navona. They also recently renovated the ground floor. Above there is another, more intimate, very particular room. You can also eat outside. In addition to the typical Roman dishes, revisited, there is also pizza which is amazing. Thin, very good. I love the Maritozzi with lamb and the ones with tripe are top. The shrimp and artichoke salad is excellent. Gnocchi and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. But as I told you, everything is very good. The staff were very kind and attentive. Excellent top wine list. I highly recommend

It was fine. It was maybe not what we expected and that’s all. There were other reviewers saying it was just French wine. That wasn’t true but they give that impression because that is what is listed on the menu by the glass and no one offers a wine menu. I think it is intentional for getting table turnover which is fine. But the food was fancier and more expensive than we expected and it sort of mismatches the casual service. As another reviewer said somewhere, pizza does come out in a second and that is fine if the other stuff wasn’t trying to be fancy. Tapas style meal service but it’s not tapas. It was loaded with Americans. That being said, the high priced by the glass wine was good, the secondi and primi were good and the fried artichokes were great. Service was friendly and casual but mismatched the rest. It is not a place I would say I would return to but I wouldn’t necessarily tell someone it was bad. There are so many other terrible tourist places in the neighborhood and this was NOT one of those. Just not what we hoped for. It was our most expensive meal in Rome without even getting dessert.

great pasta, great service, very extensive wine list with steep prices. I was a little bummed that they've raised their prices since our last visit in 2023- even cacio e pepe is €14 now.

Delicious pizza with the thinnest dough, I especially liked the capricciosa with artichoke and jamon

Highly recommended restaurant. The pasta was impressive. The carbonara in particular. Keep in mind, the drinks are somewhat expensive, for example beer 7 eur. It is a place for both tourists and Italians. The average price per person including dessert is around 40 euros.
