We stayed there and didn't regret it. A place full of vintage objects that was once an antiques shop, today has been adapted into a restaurant, it is beautiful precisely because it is particular and different. The cuisine is traditional, authentic Lecce of the past, but with a pinch of modernity. Even simple pasta with ragù sauce was well made and tasty, as were the strips of veal for the second course. The service was super friendly and helpful and I really appreciated when, after paying, I realized that the bill was not the one for my table and as soon as I pointed it out to the owner, he apologized several times and gave me my money back. difference of 20 euros. It's definitely not for everyone, he didn't even make a fuss. Having been in Lecce for a weekend, I wanted to experience tradition and I must say that I hit the mark by booking here, where the beauty of simplicity is found. Congratulations to the owners and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Particular place, full of contents. Good local cuisine, shame about the bill, I found it excessive compared to the average for the area.

Dopo 6 anni (prima volta febbraio 2018) torniamo all’Antiquario memori dell’ottima cucina. Scopriamo, durante la serata, che il ristorante ha vinto una recente edizione dei 4 ristoranti di Alessandro Borghese: non ci ha stupito … dietro le quinte c’è sempre la protagonista della trasmissione… Antonella, che lavora dietro le quinte ma in sinergia con Gianni ( il marito) nel ristorante a conduzione familiare…. Continuate così … 🔝

Tutto squisito ma prezzi fuori da ogni logica. Abbiamo ordinato in due: Un piatto fuori menu (del quale non ci è stato detto il costo) composto da una manciata di caponata, una di melanzane sott’aceto, una di zucchine julienne gratinate e qualche friggitello; Una porzione di (n.6) polpette al sugo; Una melanzana ripiena; Un piatto di orecchiette al sugo semplici; Un piatto di orecchiette al sugo con spezzatino; Due fette di torta (??? Più una cheesecake italiana quasi); Un calice di vino e una bottiglia d’acqua. Totale: 99€! Diciamo che per il tipo di cena e la location molto famigliare il conto ci sembra un po’ salato e squilibrato. Peccato perché davvero è tutto ottimo, come fosse cucinato da ogni mamma la domenica a pranzo… solo che con dei costi nettamente superiori alla norma.
