Just finished studying abroad in Rome for a couple months and this bar was near my apartment. I didn’t speak much to the staff but without fail they learned my order and started on my cappuccino and cornetto semplice every time I walked in. Amazing prices and super friendly staff!!

Everything is freakin’ awesome. Gianluca remembered my order after a month of not coming back. Everything a foreigner loves about Italy is in this tiny unassuming that looks at you not just as a customer but as a potential friend. I’ll always give my business when I’m the area, for work or just relaxing.

Pasticceria Duca

12/03/2024: Questa pasticceria è il posto del mio cuore. La conosco e frequento fin da quando sono piccola. L’ambiente è pulitissimo, e la scelta dei dolci è molto variegata sia per quel che concerne la biscotteria, le paste e le torte. I prezzi non sono alti ma in linea con il quartiere che è una zona centrale (S. Giovanni) e soprattutto per la qualità dei prodotti. Conosco personalmente i proprietari e so quanto ci tengano alle materie prime, e alla loro lavorazione. Se andrete altrove noterete che il sapore dei dolci è per tutti uguali, mentre qui è totalmente diverso: paradisiaco!
05/03/2024: I have served myself several times and the pastries and cakes are always good and fresh because there is constant demand. I post photos with correct times. I went on a Sunday after 6.00pm believing as per the indications that they were still open, but the business was already closed.
