Due Mori In Asolo

Without infamy and without praise. We waited 45 minutes for the starter, so much so that we asked if they had forgotten about us because they were serving everyone, even people who arrived later. Good dishes, the second course was plentiful and we asked if it was possible to take it home, the waitress was not very happy with this request but they still prepared an aluminum tray for us to take away. To avoid wandering around Asolo with the tray in my hand I asked for a bag, which couldn't be found, after a quarter of an hour of searching, not a bag was found, absurd, zero organisation.

A wonderful village to visit and we ate very well in this restaurant....great atmosphere

Localino arroccato nel centro storico di Asolo, quindi non è proprio semplice trovare parcheggio, arredato in modo classico con una Mise en place carina ed una veduta panoramica non indifferente e dotato anche di un bel terrazzo dove pranzare quando fa caldo. Il livello di qualità dei piatti mangiati è stato alto e mi è piaciuto ma non si può non evidenziare che il menù propone pochissimi piatti e senza alcuna alternativa tradizionale, dovete considerare che non a tutti piace l'anatra proposta di base per parecchie pietanze. Bevuto del vino locale che, anche se molto giovane, è risultato gradevole e accompagnava bene quanto mangiato. Deludente il fatto che di sabato a pranzo, primo tavolo ad ordinare, sui pochi antipasti proposti ti esclude quello principale a base di soppressa perché hanno terminato sia lo soppressa che il salame, è una cosa che non si può sentire ad un certo livello e con poche proposte. Piace la cucina a vista un po' meno il fatto che tra le 2 pietanze scelte abbiamo aspettato parecchio oltre un tempo consono mentre altri tavoli, che hanno ordinato parecchio dopo, avevano già ricevuto le seconde portate. I prezzi mi sono sembrati sproporzionati nonostante l'ottima qualità delle proposte.

Particular place. In the square dedicated to the Pope, overlooking the street dedicated to a Queen, next to the small square dedicated to Duse... a trattoria that welcomes you into the kitchen and takes you to the terrace with a breathtaking view. Well-finished dishes, excellent food, homemade bread as well as desserts, local wines, mocha coffee... kindness & skill.

Beautiful, good and well done! Worth it as a couple...and more in the evening!

A welcoming restaurant with interesting culinary offerings. We stayed here for a birthday (40th) and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the mise en place, to the high quality preparations, to the service. All accompanied by excellent wines and an excellent tiramisu as dessert to crown the evening. If it is romantic in the evening, during the day the view also offers something extra. If you pass through Asolo, a must visit!

Ambiente caldo ed accogliente. Dalla sala grande si gode una splendida vista dalla parete panoramica, mentre la cucina a legna a vista è un vero spettacolo. Piatti molto buoni, gustosi ma delicati. Bravo lo staff; presente e mai invadente. Complimenti.

What shall I say about restaurant Due Mori? Asolo is one of the many interesting villages in the Veneto, so probably Due Mori have to be recommended by someone (in our case our landlady), otherwise it is a bit out of the scope of a casual tourist. Furthermore, the restaurant is rather expensive and it turns out that the portions served are a bit small. But having written this, I must add that the food is not main stream, but delicious, the view from the balcony, where the outdoor tables are, is magnificent over the Veneto landscape (Asolo is built on a hill) and the service of the staff is impeccable. And that additional praise for a restaurant in a country, Italy, where service has a high standard, and giving service isn't a job, but a craft. We paid the bill without regret and award Due Mori a well deserved four point rating, with some to spare.
