Beautiful little restaurant in Porta Genova. The best Milanese cuisine according to the writer with very kind and punctual service. Good value for money and booking is obviously recommended

The best culinary experience ever is the one that makes you happy and in this place there is happiness that is demonstrated with the courtesy and professionalism of the owner and the love for cooking of the team. We took the Milanese cutlet and the rustin negaa (predecessor of the more famous ossobuco) with Milanese risotto: more than excellent. Thanks again to the chef, the kitchen staff and the owner.

Food was amazing. Definitely one of the best food while I was in Milano. The cotoletta is a must and their risotto alla milanese is top notch

I went to my friend's graduation, with other friends and her family. The owner is very nice and helpful, the food is excellent and the location is also very convenient! In the photo there is the vegetable millefeuille, the dish I ate.

Excellent restaurant where you can taste typical dishes of the Lombard tradition. It's already the second time we've been back and we ate really well, from the first course (onion soup and sausage and Barolo risotto) to the dessert (tiramisu with chestnut cream and apple pie). The only thing we didn't like very much was the "squat" bathroom.

Tipico ristorante di cucina milanese in zona Navigli. Il locale è piuttosto piccolo e caratteristico. Il servizio molto informale e il menù tradizionale. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per un pranzo in famiglia durante una visita in città e siamo rimastə molto soddisfattə dal rapporto qualità/prezzo. Abbiamo ordinato dei mondeghili e degli ottimi risotti (particolare quello a base di pesce di lago e mele). Prezzi onestissimi per Milano.

Mondeghili eccellenti. Ossobuco con risotto allo zafferano…l’ossobuco di vitello era buono, peccato che una spezia decorativa ne ha alterato significativamente il sapore nella parte contaminata, anche il risotto era buono,ma troppo al dente… sicuramente san far di meglio, ci tornerò per le altre portate da provare.

02/04/2024: Review that comes a little late as I went a year ago. The food is excellent and the menu varied. Normal restaurant atmosphere. High costs for the neighborhood average. I went with a large group and had some problems when it came to the bill, with some group offer proposals not kept.
14/03/2024: A special evening to let a dear Sicilian friend of ours, who is visiting, taste Milanese dishes. What can I say...the place exceeded expectations, quiet, well-spaced tables, very good cuisine with some dishes of revisited Lombard cuisine, surprising. Our friend, who was satisfied, we managed to get him to taste a bit of everything. We will definitely be back. A HELLO to the sweet owner and the very kind waitress.
