El Sombrero In Vieste

In the first evening of Vieste in love we decided to stop in the center for a quick pizza and then enjoy the party. We looked for an outdoor place, also having a furry friend, we didn't want to create problems. We were attracted by the outdoor tables and quiet place. We were greeted by very friendly staff. We ordered 3 pizzas, fast service, but unfortunately the dough was biscuity, thin and hard in the center and rawer at the edges. Unfortunately our standard of pizzas is very high as we are citizens of Puglia.

We stopped to taste the typical paposce in Vieste. I recommend you try it if you are in Vieste, I personally tried the Massaro with tomato, mozzarella caciocavallo, cooked ham and rocket. 👍

On an evening walk in August while we were looking for something to eat, we came across the paposceria "El sombrero". This intrigued us since we didn't know what paposce were. The very friendly staff explained it to us and we decided to try three different ones. All very tasty, even the local craft beer was really good.

Il servizio è molto attivo e efficiente, il cibo molto buono. Io ho ordinato i würstel con le patate, il würstel era ben cotto e le patate morbide.(Tommaso 9 anni)
