Very welcoming environment and owner! Very nice presentation of the dishes! Very fresh raw materials…..the strawberries for the risotto picked in the morning by the owner herself! What can I say…..to return and recommend! Thanks Silvia

I ate and tasted (wines and oils) with great pleasure and satisfaction! I felt "pampered" and had the opportunity to appreciate the culture and savoir faire of Silvia Ferrari (owner). As a vegan, eating and feeling this good is really rare! Compliments!!

Kind and helpful staff, I met Silvia and she is an exquisite person, as much as her 0 km products, genuine and natural, not to mention the wines, she showed me a world and I could go on for hours... Prices more than fair for the service offered. Advised!

Cozy little place in the center of Gallipoli in front of the Schipa theatre. Excellent assorted starter and homemade first courses with the true flavor of quality ingredients. All gluten-free too. Truly a pleasant surprise. Compliments to the staff.

If you want to eat fish but not only at rubino restaurant you have to stop, 6 adults and 3 children hot and cold appetizers first course and fried dessert coffee and bitters all seafood based for a total of €300... thank you ma'am we ate really well, to do again and merry Christmas again

Alle spalle del nostro hotel, ci fermiamo per pranzo, localino carino. La cameriera molto giovane ma ben preparata. Forse l'attesa è stata un pò lunghina ma era domenica e c'era gente. Tipicità del territorio cucinate ad arte. Scorpacciata assicurata!

Enjoyed a simple but delicious lunch sitting outside this great place. Food was very fresh and tasty and there is a big choice of excellent wines. Thank you especially to Sylvia, whose service and recommendations made our day, cheers!

30/03/2024: A beautiful experience! I went there tonight with friends for the first time. I found the place very nice, large, clean and welcoming. The staff was very efficient, courteous, friendly and prepared. Food... All really excellent, one of the best sushi I've eaten! But everything was well made and fresh, congratulations 💯 plus the all you can eat price was €24.90. I went back with a friend. In addition to the good Japanese cuisine we tried the Italian cuisine, which was also excellent.
27/03/2024: It must have been the 5/6 time in the restaurant. The environment as always is well looked after and clean, quiet, you can have lunch in complete tranquility. The quality of the sushi is highly sufficient even if, compared to previous times, I noticed a few more flaws. The salmon is really good, you can taste the quality. The tuna left something to be desired... dull colour, dark, almost grey, tasteless. The rice is too sticky; this significantly influenced the tasting experience given that rice is one of the main ingredients. (Very good Venus rice!) Unlike other times, the service left something to be desired. We have always had a very kind, well-prepared and above all friendly guy (a quality to underline); this time the waitress was not like the previously described waiter. It may have been a coincidence, I hope so, but she was cold and unkind. The first course was substantial, in the middle we would have liked to order some fried food etc. to tone down the intense flavor of the fish and to be able to continue with lunch in peace. The girl immediately blocked us by telling us that to place a new order we would necessarily have to complete the course on the table (never happened before in previous experiences). What disappointed us was the way he reported it to us, cold and insensitive. The situation left us with a bad taste in our mouths and after finishing lunch we left "dissatisfied". I'm almost sorry to leave only 3 stars because I know the potential of the place and above all I'm fond of it, but I hope that this review can be useful to you in improving this splendid restaurant. I will return soon, with the hope of being able to update the review with 5 stars! Good work

All'Ombra del Barocco

04/04/2024: Good pasta (but it's not the best I ate in Lecce), the octopus was good, it's fresh. Fine wine.
03/04/2024: Place with great attention to detail and very good food. A little expensive but worth it.
