Cozy place, smiling and friendly staff. You feel taken by the hand and accompanied in tasting the menu of the day which offers traditional and non-traditional dishes, meat and fish, rich, good and without frills. Fast, friendly and discreet service. Generous portions. Good choice of wines. Excellent value for money.

Really nice place, very well furnished, welcoming, with space on the external veranda for aperitifs. Really good food and kind service. The only advice I can give: when a food is spicy, write it down.

External and internal premises. Very welcoming. Good service. Wide choice. All the dishes ordered were excellent: grilled mushrooms, foisgras, carpaccio, chestnut fettuccine with mushrooms, tonnarrelli, clams and porcini mushrooms, octopus...all delicious!!! Thanks, see you soon!!

Ristorante delizioso, location molto bella con servizio ineccepibile.. veloci, cortesi e simpatici. Per quanto riguarda il cibo e tutti di qualità elevata sia per le materie prime che per come viene cucinato e servito, unico appunto e stato sui funghi porcini che erano un po' troppo amarognoli e hanno rovinato alcuni piatti.. peccato.. ma per il resto merita! il prezzo? allineato con la qualità ma non proprio economico.

03/04/2024: *UPDATE MARCH 2024* I went to this place a week ago and discovered that the management has CHANGED for 2 years... and this clarified the discrepancy between the negative reviews and my positive experience. The menu is not very extensive but very refined and updated according to the seasons; the staff is very kind (the waitress Giulia really deserves a tip!); the cocktails are created by them (I even found those with tomato, a rarity!). The only less positive note is that the environment is very nice but could do with some tidying up, however it is FANTASTIC that even though you cook the fried food, your clothes DO NOT stink when you go out (which always happens, even in the most famous restaurants). I will go back and recommend it!
30/03/2024: Cute little restaurant not on a main road so it was quiet and nice but a bit plain inside. The service was great but honestly the food was a bit average - got the octopus ragu and a clam spaghetti. The octopus ragu was quite a bit too salty and the clam spaghetti had much less taste in comparison but both had nice flavor. Crème brûlée was nice but nothing too special. A little bland! Overall was a nice dinner but food could have definitely been better!

The generosity of the portions is remarkable, especially for those, like me, who appreciate a good, hearty meal. However, the large quantity may pose a challenge for those with a moderate appetite. Overall, "Il Sorriso" stands out for the quality of the food, the efficiency of the service and the attention to customer satisfaction.
