Really rustic atmosphere. Even if you're on a budget (which isn't necessarily a given in Florence), you can get really tasty, typically Tuscan food here. Also very suitable for families with children, as most Italian restaurants are very child-friendly. You can sit at tables down in the basement, but if you like, you can also sit on stools in the counter area and have a little chat with the boss. This area is also suitable for people in wheelchairs.

You are walking around Florence, lunch time, you decide to enter this Osteria after reading the menu displayed outside, attracted both by the tradition and by the prices of the dishes offered. Small place, full of typical furnishings, but this gives a beautiful feeling of a family atmosphere, typical of a tavern in short. As soon as you enter, looking at the counter you can see croutons, omelettes, porchetta which immediately makes you hungry and I can't tell you the smell of good food that you can smell. The manager makes us sit at the table, takes our order and after 10 minutes we aren't even eating yet. The best liver I have ever eaten, excellent cheeses and cured meats, excellent ribollita, as were the first courses. Satiated, you go to pay, I would say the bill is excellent also because we are just a few meters from Piazza del Duomo. Highly recommended. I recommend booking. Thank you

Torniamo qui, quando siamo (costretti) a pranzo in centro a Firenze. Locale molto caratteristico, con le sue tavernette zeppe di bottiglie, cianfrusaglie e commensali, senza nulla delle novità scicchettose che trasformano (in peggio) le nostre città. Piatti tipici, con i sapori (forti) tradizionali, non annacquati per venire incontro a un turismo dilagante quanto ignorante, che troppo spesso pretende di ritrovare gusti più vicini alle proprie abitudini. Qui si mangia da viaggiatori, non da turisti, anche se ai prezzi contenuti corrispondono porzioni non del tutto generose. Ma questa è Firenze, bellezza.

Crostini toscani (peccato solo per il pane 🍞 NON toscano, NON crogiolato e passato nel brodo, un'errore di molti ristoranti) con ingredienti di prima qualità, tagliere di affetti misti e formaggi molto buoni, due lampredotti al piatto meravigliosi, crostata di more buona, cantuccini e vinsanto buono. Ottimo il Ciliegiolo IGT. Niente da dire, quattro palline verdi meritatissimo. Si sta molto bene.
