Sabato pomeriggio di shopping bolognese, decidiamo di prenderci un aperitivo in questo locale prima di cena. A parte l’attesa infinita per un Moscow Mule e un Gin Tonic, a parte anche il prezzo (25 euro, ma considerando la location, via Altabella, ci sta), decisamente misere le 4 noccioline (contate forse 9) salate. Non dico di portare spaghetti cacio e pepe e tranci di pizza, bastava qualche grissino artigianale, una focaccia a dadini….hanno anche la cucina essendo un ristorante!!! Potrei ma non voglio. Niente di niente. Parafrasando una canzone (nella versione umoristica): “manco un salatino”. Tristassa.. avrei dato 2 pallini, il terzo lo do alla location decisamente bella, ma non ci tornerei.

A beautiful, spacious and welcoming place furnished with great taste. Friendly and patient staff, dishes prepared with refined care and attention without leaving anything to chance. I can not wait to come back

Very nice place, with lots of plants, furnishings, books... the color of the walls envelops you... Good food, we took the half portions (5 or 6) which act as very abundant, particular and quality starters...then we no longer had room for a main course, but the dessert (the crust) was also wonderful and worth the price. worth taking! Unfortunately the drink was disappointing... we may have been unlucky but the spritz didn't taste like anything (too much ice!!!!!!!) and I had to ask them to correct it (available to do so), even the glasses of red... bha! In any case, a place I would return to, especially because in Bologna they now only eat platters and tagliatelle and finding a bit of good variety is rare!

Different evening than usual? Fior di Sale is the right place! With cocktails created by a great bartender and nose from Bologna Salvatore Castiglione who together with Nicola Annis have created a bistro restaurant with an American bar where you can live an experience. Worth trying are the spirits refined in velvet jars on the palate, an excellent cocktail and wine list, and also an interesting bistro menu with excellent dishes to accompany your aperitif, dinner or after! Congratulations to the dining room staff and the brigade!

I tried a drink left to rest in an amphora, based on mezcal and sangiovese: really special! A set of non-trivial flavors and textures.

Exceptional cocktails, I recommend the one with saffron gin which is an explosion of flavors and saffron is the protagonist. Perfectly balanced drinks. Very kind staff ready to satisfy every request and answer any question. Excellent raw materials and fair prices for the quality they have.

Cena tra colleghi. Locale molto carino, elegante, luci soffuse e un arredo completato da piante piuttosto originale. Dall’antipasto al secondo i piatti hanno meritato un 10! Da provare la carne! Io pur non essendo particolarmente “carnivora” ho mangiato una tartare ed uno stinco di maiale che ancora ricordo! Le porzioni sono giuste, proprio per potersi godere a pieno la cena. Valida carta dei vini e personale gentile. E se è vero che la difficoltà sta nelle cose più semplici, vi dico che ho mangiato delle trofie al pomodoro che mi hanno fatto dire dopo tanto tempo di un piatto “super wow”

Rispetto agli standard bolognesi carta vini attenta a variare. Materie prime delle portate di qualità medio-alta e una certa attenzione alla preparazione dei piatti (panna cotta senza colla di pesce, tuorlo d'uovo crudo ad accomoagnare la tartare). Servizio molto attento a che le tempistiche della cena siano gradevoli all'ospite, qualità tedenzialmente abbandonata in questi tempi di over tourism. Prezzi alti e porzioni un po' limitate.

26/03/2024: I'm always inclined to try new places, I come here with a friend because I hear that this place makes really excellent dishes. Very nice place, in the center of Casalecchio, elegant at times and with a nice little garden with a view, waiters always polite and kind, both traditional and contemporary menu and I'm going for the contemporary. Let's take Citrus-flavored Dry Passatelli with Crustacean Restricted Sauce and Chopped Red Prawn €19, good yes but they didn't drive me crazy, and then the red prawn on top was a small and small piece, Roasted Octopus, Chickpea Hummus, Friarielli Sauteed, Sesame and Marinara Sauce €22, very very good, octopus tender and cooked to perfection, Braised Veal Cheek with New Potatoes with Thyme and Wild Herbs €23, also spectacular, cut with a fork and it melted in your mouth... second courses were truly exceptional, the first was a little so-so but I will definitely go back. Costs are not that low, €95 for a first course, 2 second courses and 2 desserts, I would say it's not cheap but oh well sometimes it's ok.

07/04/2024: Recommended by my best friend, an exceptional experience, it was a journey through the authentic flavors of Bologna. Staff very friendly and attentive to detail. Top dish: tortellini with parmesan cream, a delight. I will recommend it myself and will definitely return!
07/04/2024: The food (in particular tagliatelle Bolognese) was really very yummy, however the service was just so slow that it ruined the atmosphere. I am usually a fan of a relaxed serving pace, but we were sitting down for over 45 minutes before the starter/any food arrived at the table (other than bread), and another 30+ minutes after we had finished that before the mains. We watched as tables who had arrived after us had their entire meal before we ate at all. We arrived at 9:30 and didn't end up eating mains til 11pm. After the mains we were given the dessert menu, although almost everyone else had left, but nobody ever came to take the order so we paid up. The service itself was quite friendly, just not attentive. Also when we originally arrived at the restaurant, there was a queue (everyone had a reservation), which would have been fine but they did not serve people in the order of the queue, just in order of who was the most pushy. A lot of people who arrived after us were given tables (of the same size) before us, because we didn't want to be impolite. In general, prices were pretty good and the food was yummy. The decor was completely fine although not particularly inspired.
