Sono andato proprio oggi a pranzo. È diventato troppo commerciale a scapito della qualità. Ho chiesto se come piatto espresso potessero preparare linguine allo scoglio. Ebbene è arrivato una insalata di mare con polpo qualche vongole, molti gusci vuoti delle cozze nere, con delle linguine bollite e messe assieme. Nessun gusto. Il tutto ad un costo, per me, esagerato ( 15 euro). Frittura buona , lasagne al salmone salatissime. Esperienza non positiva.

almeno una volta al mese sono a Catania per lavoro e alloggiando non lontano da questa zona ho provato questo locale. Nitto in zona ha più strutture a seconda dei target. Tutti hanno accesso ad un eccellente materia prima che gli consente di preparare una grande varietà di piatti. Normalmente prendo gamberoni crudi (molto buoni), sarde beccafito (ben eseguite), involti di spada (con grande varietà). Rapporto prezzo qualità eccezionale. E' ovvio che parliamo di un servizio alla buona, ma se si vuole un servizio da ristorazione si va di fianco.

04/04/2024: Very helpful and courteous staff. Welcoming venue and a vast menu including first courses, second courses and appetizers. Excellent pizzas.
21/03/2024: The pizza was the best we’ve had throughout our trip in Sicily! The dough was delicious and the portions were so generous (even the pasta as well)! Staff was very friendly as well.

27/03/2024: Quality and location come at a price. The food is good and the place is nice, with a nice view even if during the day, outdoors, you have the feeling of being a bit too much in the middle of the street.
26/03/2024: I returned to Aci Castello after many years and thought that the La bettola restaurant had closed, but with great pleasure I learned that it had moved to Piazza Castello. A splendid setting in which to enjoy the chef's dishes. The various and tasty appetizers are good, not to mention the first courses and to finish, a fresh fry, the icing on the cake. And speaking of cake, you can end the meal with a dessert or a lemon sorbet and as George says..... What else?
