We had the lunch menu, everything was impeccable!

The meal was worth every Cent! It was delicous, intelligent and well balanced thus remaining tipically italian! I really liked the fact that the ingredients were mostly local! The waiters were very friendly and helpful. The wine recommendation fitted perfectly! And they have the chilliest and most beautiful toilet i have ever seen ;) Definitely the best restaurant in Palermo!

I thank Franco Virga and Stefania Milano for inviting my wife and me to their splendid restaurant, where I was able to appreciate the art of chef Mauricio Zillo with his original dishes, the result of the fusion of Sicilian aromas and flavors, accompanied by a surprising choice of wines. Il ristorante Gagini è espressione di una non comune alchimia tra elementi che combinandosi tra loro lo rendono un posto indimenticabile: la sua collocazione nella Palermo più “verace”, la location di charme, la sua cucina di altissimo livello, il servizio impeccabile e, infine, il rapporto qualità prezzo. Noi abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione ed è stato un carosello di emozioni, piatti intensi, complessi, equilibrati, seducenti, intriganti… tra tutti hanno particolarmente lascato il segno gli gnocchi di patate e grano saraceno con le canocchie crude, piatto strepitoso che da solo vale il viaggio, ma dall’amuse bouche al dessert abbiamo rasentato la perfezione. Una cucina che racconta una bella storia di passione, cultura e sensibilità, priva di tecnicismi, ostentazioni o forzature. Empatico e premuroso il servizio, molto interessante e corretta la carta dei vini. Una cena indimenticabile, uno dei ricordi più belli di Palermo.

For me very overrated and expensive compared to what is served. At a table of 7 we were unable to choose between the 2 alternatives for the main course of the tasting menu because one of the diners had to necessarily opt for one of the two due to allergy problems and we were forced to all order the same dish, the same for the Sweet. Stellar price, forgettable experience. I will not return.

A visit to Palermo cannot be complete without the Gagini experience. Because it's about experience. Cool atmosphere, impeccable service, attention to detail. We tried the 6-course tasting menu, paired with 6 wines chosen by the attentive sommelier. A beautiful sensorial journey, through high quality raw materials, and a rediscovery of the island's food and wine excellences. Fine dining is an art, and Chef Mauricio Zillo with his team expresses great mastery of it. Compliments!

Fantastic cuisine, highly recommended tasting-menu experience. A bit slow service between some of the servings towards the end of the evening.

Food was full flavour and perfectly made. Friendly and proffesional staff and great quite location.

Muy buen ambiente. Importante reservar. Se esforzaron por hablarnos en español. Pedimos menú s la carta con tres platos más extra de quesos. Nos trajeron aperitivos de pasta con guanciale y pan de anchoas. No nos gustó el de caracol pero porque no nos gustan los caracoles. Pedimos de primeros carpaccio con mejillones e higos con bottarga. De Segundo destácanos la pasta con azafrán y salmonetes. Postres espectaculares. Muy recomendable. Aunque el precio nos parece elevado para estos tres platos.
