Gino Cacino di Angelo In Siena

I recently ate at Angelo’s with my family of 10 during our visit to Siena. We had an incredible lunch over a few bottles of wine while visiting with Angelo. Great food and excellent wine selection with an even better atmosphere. 10/10 for us.

I thought I have had a great sandwich before. I had not. Now I have. Complete with world class Italian red wines at retail pricing. If you’re in town and like food and great experiences, come here.

Near the central square is Gino Cacino. The place is managed by Angelo alone, which leads to long waiting times. Quality ingredients and slightly small sandwich size. Suggestive environment, excellent balance between the various ingredients chosen, you can see that Angelo knows how to best enhance the raw material he has available. Advised

We went to Siena from Rome by bus just to eat at Gino Cacino di Angelo. It's the third time we've come and it was worth it, as always. Angelo is an extraordinary person. We spent hours in his company eating delicious dishes (croutons and sandwiches) and chatting with a person who truly deserves only positive reviews for his passion and skill. This is a fantastic place from the atmosphere to the company, we hope to return as soon as possible. A big kiss and see you soon Giulia and Jacopo

This place is a hidden gem, Angelo is a top chef and watching him prepare the food is a delight, simply the best place to eat in all of Tuscany. The raw sausage panini is perfect, follow Angelo's recommendations or ask him to improvise.

Calling this place a sandwich shop would be an understatement, given that the owner and chef also takes care of tasting sessions. Here we have an artist, the composition of the sandwiches is already done, and he does not compromise on proposing his own combinations. And I can say that he is right, another point that distances this place from traditional sandwich shops. I can assure you that Angelo (I think that's the owner's name) knows how to enhance every ingredient used and bring it to sublimation on our palate. The sandwiches he makes, I think I can confidently say, are among the best I've eaten in my entire life. I highly recommend this place, but go before peak time, because otherwise you can wait up to half an hour before eating.

Lacalino molto carino, intimo e impregnato di passione e personalità. Titolare alla mano, molto preparato e appassionato. Gli abbiamo dato carta bianca sulla scelta dei prodotti e non ha deluso. Piena libertà anche sul vino, di cui li ha spiegato le caratteristiche in modo impeccabile. È stato piacevole farsi guidare da chi conosce veramente i prodotti del territorio. Il titolare con un ottima conoscenza dei prodotti che tratta, trasuda passione in quello che fa, assembla ogni panino, ogni tagliere o ogni crostone con tutto se stesso, non trascurando nulla. Essendo da solo magari ci sarà un poco da aspettare ma fidatevi, l'attesa sarà più che ripagata, nel tempo in cui si aspetta si può ammirare aĺľopera una persona che ama quello che fa e che valorizza lo splendito territorio in cui vive. Obbligatorio farci un passo anche solo per vederlo lavorare e per farvi coccolare mangiando un qual cosa che non troverete mai in altri locali.

Vous avez le choix avec une multitude de paninis différents. Les 3 que nous avons pris étaient tous excellent. Les produits utilisés sont d'excellente qualité. C'est une super bonne adresse pour un repas vite fait à midi.
