What can we say about this hidden gem? I am sure many others had echoed my words but it is worth mentioning it again. The food, service, and atmosphere transport you from a restaurant to a local's home...and make you feel at home while at it!
We had the bruschetta, ravioli (with spinach and cheese), cacio e pepe, and the house (red) wine.
We would have gone for the tiramisu had we not been overly satisfied and filled with the amazing food. Portions are great and mouth-watering. A definite must for anyone visiting Rome.

Born and raised in Rome, I had never been to this tavern but I finally caught up! Cozy place, few seats, great food. Super low prices for the quality and kindness of the waiter. Truly recommended for a classic Roman dinner and more!

Unfortunately we only got to know this excellent hostaria this evening. A very friendly and attentive waitress and excellent and authentic food. We are tourists and live around the corner, but we often go to Rome and live right there and are already looking forward to the next time. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening.

Buona trattoria, semplice ma buona.
Picchiapo' eccellente.
Tiramisù freschissimo.
Ambiente confortevole. Servizio veloce. Prezzi onesti.
Ma....la carbonara, pur gradevole, ha un sentore di...olio.
Ho chiesto alla cuoca e mi ha confermato, con aria scocciata, che "per cuocere il guanciale, ovviamente, serve...l'olio" !!!

Chi è stato in questo posto ci torna volentieri, chi non c'è mai stato colmi, se può, questa lacuna. Cosa altro dire se non che con meno di 40 Euro a testa si mangia benissimo e tantissimo con una bottiglia di livello. Noi, in due, abbiamo scelto un Nero d' Avola di Cusumano, roba seria...
