Hotel Sbarcadero Restaurant In Siracusa

14/10/2023: One of my favorite memories of Ortigia. Il Blu is a family run, neighborhood restaurant outside of the main tourist area. The atmosphere is casual and colorful. The service is conversational, informal. The food is fresh, flavors are wonderful, and plates are beautifully presented. My main was a seared mahi-mahi with peach, pistachio and sweet basalmic. The restaurant focuses on Sicilian products - they don’t offer Coca-Cola. Ask for Polara instead. Triplet sons served as our waiters — under the close supervision of their parents. It was a great lunch and a memorable experience!
