Il Mare Caldo In Abbiategrasso

Very simple restaurant, not too busy. I wanted a good mixed fry and, reading the positive reviews, I went in convinced I wouldn't make a mistake. Unfortunately the fried food was not mixed because 90% were fried calamari rings and the other 10% were vegetables and a single prawn. Compared to what I paid I would have expected a larger portion and a real mixed fish fry, luckily I had taken a house starter which, apart from the prawn which was raw, I liked. We will return hoping to be luckier.

Good value for money. Clear, precise and well-made allergen card, after a long time I was able to eat a good first course in a restaurant. Good fish Friendly and helpful staff even though we took a long time to leave the place.

The pizza was not so delicious! Maybe if the chef uses more tomato sauce and less of mozzarella, the pizza might taste better.

Excellent food, right portions, very good value for money. For lunch, tourist menus for 10 and 12 euros maintaining the quality and quantity of the portions very high. The room is not refined but very welcoming, clean and with efficient service. They take care of the customer at all stages and beyond. The owners are of Egyptian origin but are very well integrated. I absolutely recommend, I will return. The seafood menu left me breathless and hungry 😂

What can be better than your fantastic pizza after a day of stress & work? 10/10! Indeed even more so for the coca cola on tap which I hadn't drank for years! 🤩👏😉
