Big boat on the banks of the Po with a fixed menu of 35 euros, fish all the time

I recently visited this restaurant for a Sunday lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rustic and characteristic environment. The menu is fixed and coincides with the one published on the restaurant website (https://www.ilmulinosulpo-ristorante.it/menu/). Coming to the quality of the food, this did not meet my expectations. There are many courses/tastings including starter, 2 first courses and second courses but the quantity definitely comes at the expense of quality. There is the sensation of an industrial preparation, with mediocre raw materials. The end result is that it feels like being in a canteen rather than a restaurant, a circumstance which makes the price (€35 on holidays) not up to what is offered. In conclusion, although the atmosphere and service were impeccable, the cuisine and overall value leave room for significant improvement.

The location on the banks of the Po river is very beautiful and it is very easy to get there: it is located not far from the "Occhiobello" exit of the A13. The menu is fixed but includes everything: from starters to dessert, water, wine, coffee and even bitters (35 euros). The dishes are based on fish and the portions are absolutely in line with the price. The service is fast, friendly and helpful. The environment is characteristic, different from the usual, the walls are full of writing in marker, sports t-shirts, scarves and objects of various kinds. You won't be disappointed.

Few words but sincere experience absolutely worth repeating

I would say the restaurant on the Po river is a "nice find", a spartan but clean place, very helpful staff, plenty of food worthy of the price......good fish throughout (both starter, first course and second course) and penne all' angera good...good quality wine and finally limoncello. Council, social price 30 euros.

Beautiful place, the environment is characteristic. The food isn't the best but with €35 you can't expect more

Everything stopped over twenty years ago, same owner, same writings, same type of food and unfortunately the same boat which in my opinion could be recovered a bit, after all it's a characteristic place where you can eat well

The unique and characteristic environment of an "old" tavern, good service, decent dishes, fair quality/price ratio, worth visiting at least once

Mangiato bene Cameriera gentilissima Ristorante tipico Un tuffo nel passato, ci siamo stati un pò di anni fa, le portate erano troppo abbondanti. Ora sono giuste.
