Questa al Panaro è un'esperienza davvero particolare. Il locale è storico e, a giudicare dall'affluenza, un punto di riferimento per egubini e perugini. Incredibile come in così poco spazio riescano ad ammassare tanta gente. La parte del leone la fa la torta al testo, in mille variabili e davvero speciale. Buone le tagliatelle all'oca, un po' meno le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini. I prezzi sarebbero adeguati, se non provvedessero poi ad arrotondare i costi. Ovviamente in eccesso...:)

Appena sufficiente, tagliatelle al tartufo, ma il tartufo era finito! Quindi euro per tagliatelle al tartufo senA tartufo. La trippa invece era eccezionale.

25/10/2023: We had a day off hiking from Spoleto to Assisi, so we opted for a leisurely lunch outside on a beautiful day. I ordered a Bianco pizza for myself topped with Norcina sausage, truffles and oh!, ...so much wonderful cheese. Crust was thin, with wood-fired char and crispness and yet just enough to chew and enjoy. This was one of the best (if not THE best) pizza I have ever had and stacks up as one of the best meals I've had in Umbria ( including the excellent food at L'Alchimista, though we're talking apples and oranges, here). I actually prefer the Montefalco to the Sagrantino and the one I was served here was nothing short of sublime . ...and it was 3 Euro for the glass! I'm still thinking about this 5 months later. Simply, ...perfection. Molte grazi
06/09/2023: Il cibo è di qualità scarsa ma l'atmosfera gioviale e l'ambiente stile museo gli fa prendere un punto in più. Se andate per mangiate bene, tirate dritto. Se invece volete un'esperienza fuori dall'ordinario, è il posto che fa per voi.

07/09/2023: We had a table booked for 8pm. We arrived early so we were given Prosecco each whilst we waited for our table to be available. We waited about 10 minutes then we were brought to our table. We ordered our food which was fine. We understand that it was busy but the food came after 45 mins I would say, and it was cold. We all ordered pasta dishes. They were nice but would’ve been better if they had been hot!!. Once we got the bill we checked everything to make sure it was right, but we couldn’t understand why we were charged €56 for two of the dishes we got. Turns out the two prawn linguini “specials” that two of us had were €28 each!!. €56 for two bowls of pasta is crazy money if you ask me. We were not told that they were €28 each, if we had known the price we would have gotten something different off the menu. Also €7 for natural tap water?? You can get that for 70 cent in the super market. Lovely service and lovely staff, but the prices of the two pasta specials is maddd. Was an okay experience, but we will not be returning while we are here on holiday 👎
