What can I say, magnificent place. Every time I am amazed by the impeccable service! 5 stars only because you can't give more.

Good pizza. Discreet dessert. Possibility to eat pizza or first courses, meat or fish. Pleasant, welcoming and clean place. Kindness and helpfulness. Next to the San Cristoforo bridge: characteristic and panoramic point over the Naviglio. Prices are not low, in line with the Milanese average.

We had been missing for some time, confirms expectations. Good, quality food. Menu rightly updated but I miss the grilled fish. Prices normal.

In my opinion, Principe dei Navigli is perhaps currently the best restaurant in the Barona area. For several reasons. The location itself is very suggestive: it is located along the Naviglio Grande in via Ludovico il Moro right in front of the beautiful church of San Cristoforo (to visit as soon as possible...). Secondly, the restaurant inherited the spaces of an ancient Posteria-tobacconist, re-adapting them with taste and simplicity. Perhaps today the spaces between the various tables are a little narrow but without exaggerating. The strong point of the place is the quality/price ratio which is really very good. The list of dishes is varied, both land and sea, with an excellent choice of genuine ingredients prepared with care. I, who love first courses, yesterday enjoyed a pumpkin cream risotto with crab meat, cooked just right and in a more than satisfactory quantity. However, as an entree you are always offered a glass of prosecco and a large hot focaccia with raw ham, truly delicious! The list of wines by the bottle and by the glass is excellent. Another great asset of the place is the service, always fast, efficient and done with great courtesy, without unnecessary externals. Finally, the prices I find are really very competitive. In conclusion: try the Principe dei Navigli but remember that it is always better to book.
