The day before we went to the best gelateria in Florence. It was delicious, but the ice cream at Il Procopio is incredibly good. The pistachio ice cream, Cremino Fondente Cioccolate e cioccolato bianco, Montebianco, Extra Fondante etc. are really recommended 😍🤩

The gelato tastes like icecream, most of the time gelato tastes light and icy. But icecream tastes thick and creamy which is how the gelato tastes. Quick tip if you want good gelato make sure it’s in a metal tub, the ones piled up or out of a tub will not taste like gelato, but icecream. This is because they use chemicals to make the icecream piled up and out of the tubs.

I found the ice cream very good but the negative point is the cone as to have the one with the crunchy wafer the minimum is 3.80 euros while there are ice cream shops that keep it like this already with the base price

The BEST gelato I’ve had in Italy. This is the real deal.. fresh and delicious. The mango tasted like they had blended in fresh mangos (and I know my Mangos, I live in the Caribbean). This is also where the locals said to go.. so.. I’ll definitely trust that.

Helado buenísimo, con amplia variedad de tamaños a elegir y precios razonables. Pedimos un sabor que había ganado un premio, y sabía genial, y los otros sabores que pedimos estupendos también. La señora que nos atendió fue muy amable.

26/03/2024: You can’t go wrong with Florence’s gelato shops .. Always delicious and mostly available everywhere in the city .. The place is nice and small with very beautiful outdoor seating to enjoy your gelato !!

05/04/2024: Very good food in a neighborhood on the edge of the center. The shop does not have anything special in its appearance or decoration but the atmosphere is warm and the service friendly. We ordered a variety of cheeses (which turned out to be quite a bit), two "pasta" dishes which were very tasty and a fiorentina which was really well cooked (maybe a bit too much salt but ok). Overall, the store is expensive.
05/04/2024: Excellent food. Next level flavours. I only wish they served the steak starting at 0.5 kgs. At 1 kg min that’s a lot to have (or waste) if it’s just 1 person. Pigeon was exquisite. As was the chicken liver pate. House red wine was ok - not exceptional but nice enough.
