The carbonara is worth it even if many might say "it's not yellow yellow". The tartare and the "savoury" dessert are excellent. Medium-high prices.

A truly excellent refreshment in a Roman tavern in Garbatella that has remained exactly as it was in the years in which it was built. Very professional staff, high quality food and new tastes. Roman cuisine revisited with imagination but without ever going off topic. Absolutely worth trying.

Experience that became super positive! Table for 2, reservation at 2.15pm which was not marked, we had to wait 45 minutes before sitting down and during this wait there was no shortage of continuous apologies from the staff, especially from Gabriele, who at that moment managed the situation in the best possible way. Exquisite lunch, we took 2 appetizers (Hummus and pumpkin flowers), followed by 2 carbonaras... all delicious and well prepared Gabriele politely explained to us what had happened and at the end he offered us the entire lunch to apologize for what had happened. Unfortunately I didn't have many contact details with me, so the tip I left the staff was negligible, but I hope they appreciated the enormous gesture of kindness as we did. I'm sure that we can always be wrong, we are human, but the gesture of Gabriele and the entire restaurant must not go unnoticed, which is why I will gladly return as soon as I have the chance to be in the city again Thanks again!

Historic place, not very large but welcoming in the heart of Garbatella, it feels like being at home when you sit at the table. Menu that is configured between the typical Roman and the revisited, honest prices and in relation to the quantity on the plate... I would say great. We ordered stuffed courgette flowers (nice pot-bellied) and crispy prawns as an appetizer. Both really tasty! Then to follow we had some homemade ravioli and rigatoni all'amatriciana, both highly recommended. We shared the lamb ribs as a second course, because we absolutely wanted to try them and I think they are among the best I have eaten in and around Rome. In short: Definitely in the top 3 if you pass through Garbatella. A parte qualche modifica al menu, lo standard qualitativo dei piatti e delle materie prime è rimasto invariato. Concordo con altre recensioni in cui ho letto che i primi sono arrivati tiepidi. Ma: porzioni nuovamente diminuite e prezzi aumentati. Non ultimo il “cestino” di pane, che nulla ha a che vedere con un cestino, e che costa 2€ per una quantità di pane irrisoria (che non basta neanche per uno). Ma quello che ho trovato più grave è che questi Signori non hanno nessuna intenzione di creare e mantenere una clientela abituale, perché probabilmente la clientela occasionale è più facile da gestire. A fronte di un conto in due persone di 130€ e quindi a fronte di un tavolo che ha consumato parecchio (non il solito antipasto e bevanda e non me ne vado neanche subito), a termine cena, non è stato fatto un minimo di sconto, non è stato offerto un caffè, un biscotto, nulla. Come se niente fosse. A questo punto i miei 130€ ho deciso di portarli altrove. Mi è dispiaciuto vedere per la prima volta in quindici anni come ci fossero posti vuoti di sabato sera.

Locale molto carino nel cuore della Garbatella. Dentro è davvero caratteristico e molto accogliente. Menù molto interessante (non le solite cose romane) con pietanze buonissime. Carta dei vini seria e prezzi normali. Si mangia bene, poco da aggiungere. Ci tornerò, andateci
