LOCAL: The new location of the restaurant is located in an area that is not exactly one of the most beautiful in Milan, we are in Bovisa, in a street where there are only homes and practically no commercial activities. Despite this, the location literally has nothing to do with the context that surrounds it, in fact once you arrive you forget about everything around you. The restaurant has both a super modern and refined internal part, large spaces, important materials, a touch of refined art here and there and very large windows that overlook the external part of the restaurant: a huge, well-kept garden. A plus is certainly the private parking (free) which is located under the restaurant, while the only negative part about the restaurant itself is the not optimal acoustics, in fact you could barely hear what the waiters were telling you when they were literally at the your side. SERVICE: The service was very appreciable throughout the dinner. Starting from the reception where before accompanying us to our table they took our coats. Many here might comment with "we would just be without it in a restaurant like this", but if you read other reviews on restaurants of the same level, you will see that it is not something to be taken for granted. During dinner the service was precise and punctual, perhaps the dishes were delivered a little too quickly, very close together. FOOD: We opted for the "History is us" tasting menu to actually try the classics that have made the history of Innocenti Evasioni's cuisine. €75 per person I must say that the menu was a bit of a roller coaster, an up and down of taste which, obviously, is personal. After serving us a very tasty amuse bouche, some vegetable-based meatballs, the actual menu began. Parsley root with soft carbonara, Vesuvian cherry tomatoes with basil and Sichuan pepper. After tasting it I immediately said "there's no way they'll be able to serve anything better this evening". Literally a riot of flavors that all blended perfectly with each other. Seafood cassoeula made with tomato paste, fish and shellfish in sauce. Very very good, a really tasty dish. The only point I can make is that it was something that in terms of ingredients and taste I had already eaten elsewhere, perhaps in other shapes and consistencies, unlike the first one which was a unique surprise from every point of view. Gragnano spaghetti with smoked butter, black cuttlefish sauce and bergamot. After a very slight drop between the first and the second, here I really had a blow, the roller coaster risked crashing me to the ground. The dish was very heavy, I struggled to finish it, the spaghetti was literally flooded with this butter sauce which, once the first good bite had passed, made each subsequent bite increasingly difficult to swallow. Black halibut fillet with cauliflower in cinnamon butter and dried plum. A fair, linear dish, without surprises. The dried plum gave it a boost, but it was in such a small quantity that it wasn't enough to make it stand out as a dish. Puffed barbajada, banana cake and fior di latte ice cream. A really good dessert, which after the last two dishes you are happy that it is so tasty. Nice to look at and good to eat. At the end we went up again. DRINK: We chose the route of pairing glasses with the menu. €25 per person, for 3 glasses. Honestly a little disappointing, so much so that the three proposals were forgettable and in fact apart from the Berlucchi Extra Brut I don't remember the others. Perhaps the cost of water in a carafe (4€) and that of coffee (3.5€) are excessive I COUNT: Total €211 CONCLUSION: Overall it was a good experience and at a very fair price. For the level of cuisine offered, it is difficult to find options at similar prices in Milan. I will definitely come back to try the other tasting menus. PS: I was clearly right about the starter

Minimalist, refined and very refined environment. Impeccable service to say the least. We tasted the Winter tasting menu (€100pp, plus the tasting of 4 paired glasses for €38pp): flavours, sometimes delicate, sometimes bold, expertly mixed and alternating. I particularly enjoyed the saddle of deer and the duck foie gras. I will be back to try all the menus available!

I tried the under 25 proposal, a three-course dinner at the cost of 35 euros (including a glass of wine and water) at the counter. Highly recommended experience with excellent value for money.

Visited in the summer of '22 Sometimes the star can play tricks! In the sense that it definitely raises the level of expectations and therefore a place, like this, that I would have definitely promoted and widely appreciated, I promote it, I appreciate it, BUT I consider it a small step behind other single-starred places that I have tried. There is the raw material, there is the creativity, there is the technique, BUT what is missing is the wow effect, a deeper cellar, the harmonious elegance, the audacity, the twist... in short, a whole series of ingredients that I didn't fully find here. My partner and I opted for the menu and we had some duck foie gras as a starter, which made me fully appreciate the very high quality raw material; my partner a warm egg on pepper cream. I then continued with prawn ravioli with tomato puree with shellfish, fried capers and black garlic. Really tasty dish that I really appreciated especially for its delicacy and the workmanship of the ravioli. The crunchy note given by the capers is really interesting. My partner's dish, spaghetti with sour butter, clams, spring onion and bottarga, was decidedly tasty, but the abundance of sour butter made it a little heavier, making it lose a bit of freshness that one might have expected. I concluded the dinner with a fantastic plate of simply sublime guinea fowl breast, the best of the evening, where the meat literally melted in your mouth. For my partner, the croaker, although tasty overall, was a little too full and weighed down by the sauce/cream on which it was placed. Finally a fairly "anonymous" coffee accompanied by Nespresso branded sugar sachets...nothing to say against Nespresso, we have it at home too...but exactly: we have it at home too! The dinner was accompanied by a very good 2019 Verdicchio di Matellica Vertis di Borgo Paglianetto. We would like to recommend the experience and will probably repeat it also because the menu was really interesting and certainly deserves further study! The strong point of this place lies in the fantastic quality/price ratio which I would define as unique in the Milanese panorama if you want to try a starry experience. I repeat, the "critical issues" that I have highlighted are ONLY dictated by the very high expectations that Michelin stars raise, perhaps even unconsciously, when they are assigned.

High-quality restaurant with highly refined dishes, intimate and relaxing environment, excellent service. 4 tasting menus, unfortunately, to choose from for the entire table. Extensive wine list. Price adequate for the "almost" star of the restaurant.

Bell’ambiente, addirittura strano e originale, così in periferia. Ovviamente si mangia molto bene ma non ho assaggiato niente che mi abbia colpito in modo particolare. Buono, ma mi aspettavo di più.

Ogni anno nostro figlio ci regala una cena presso un ristorante stellato: questa volta si tratta di Innocenti Evasioni, di chef Arrigoni. Diciamo subito che la zona di Milano dove si trova il ristorante è abbastanza anonima: zona Bovisa, non lontano dal Politecnico. La location, invece, è elegante: grande sala, banco bar ampio e ben fornito, servizi igienici moderni, puliti e opportunamente defilati rispetto alla sala. Arredo moderno ma un po' asettico: alcuni tavoli con mise en place standard, altri privi di tovaglia, quadri alle pareti che dovrebbero essere di tendenza (ma a me personalmente non piacciono). Il ristorante dispone di un giardino esterno, pare zen, che, però, non siamo riusciti a vedere per il buio. Lo chef ci conduce al tavolo e, subito dopo, il maitre ci illustra il menu. Nostro figlio ci ha regalato il menù degustazione da 100 eur, che inizia con una guanciale di ombrina come entre'e e prosegue con scampi crudi con cavolfiore e maionese di foie gras e cachi, molto buoni. I ravioli farciti di lepre brasata, su salsa di ragusano, fichi e cioccolato sono veramente la chicca del menu: il tocco da maestro dello chef! Non così buono il diaframma di angus con miele e salsa al BBQ, un po' troppo gommoso: non eccelso neanche la terrina di foie gras di anatra con composta di frutta e pan brioche. Proseguiamo con polpa di zucca con castagne e crema di formaggio di capra, per concludere con un sorbetto di fichi con cioccolato latte di mandorla e pan di spezie, molto "coreografici" e particolari. Fuori menù prendiamo due bottiglie di acqua frizzante (che paghiamo 4 eur/cad!), e una bottiglia di Lugana Riserva di Corte Anna, 14,5 gradi di turbiana del 2019 ben strutturato e gradevolissimi, a 36 eur. Tempi di consegna dei piatti al tavolo molto brevi sino al diaframma di angus: attesa di 20 minuti per gli ultimi due, dovuti all'arrivo di altri clienti.... Insomma, per riassumere: molta cura nell'impiattamento, creatività negli accostamenti di sapori, buona qualità delle materie prime. Ci piacerebbe ritornare con la stagione propizia per provare il giardino zen....
