Jager Bar In Macugnaga

The new renovation is fantastic and has a romantic feel. The aperitifs were one of the best in the area. We wished we would have had the chance to go more. The service on entry was good but could of been a little more attentive after that. Superb bar!!

I often go on holiday to Macugnaga and this bar never disappoints... The breakfasts that warm the heart. I fell in love with their artisan desserts. The bar service and their aperitifs are top notch. Delightful staff, friendly, kind and very helpful in recommending places to see in the area. Run by a very welcoming family who also own the Dufour hotel opposite the bar managed in the same way. Highly recommended!!!

I have been coming to Macugnaga regularly for two years and I have been frequenting the Jagger from day one, the staff is very kind and helpful and the environment is very welcoming, which has also been recently renovated, in typical mountain style revisited with a touch of modernity that there is'… There is a familiar atmosphere that makes us feel at home! I recommend booking one of the tables in the lounge with an enchanting view of Monte Rosa...TOP!!! From spring onwards you can sit outside where there are many tables with a direct view of the mountain. Here you can drink excellent wines and very good drinks prepared by Alberto and in the morning you can have nice breakfasts with assorted pastries and cakes. In short, certainly the place par excellence in Macugnaga. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Il Bar non passa inosservato per gli interni con prestigiose finiture ed arredamento montano di ultima tendenza. Entrando si apprezza subito la pulizia del locale ma soprattutto la cortesia di chi ci lavora. Un'accoglienza umile e garbata di chi ha come obiettivo farti sentire a casa. Infatti dopo due giorni a Macugnaga, ci sentivamo "clienti di casa". Inutile parlare del alta qualità del cibo servito, che mi piacerebbe che provaste anche voi. Purtroppo mi sarebbe piaciuto segnalare anche qualche cosa di negativo per parcondicio ma, ahimè non ho trovato nulla. Meglio così. Un saluto a Macugnaga

Historic venue, completely renovated in great mountain style, elegant and harmonious. The environment is extremely welcoming and familiar thanks also to the friendliness of the owners Francesca, Alberto and Laura and the service is impeccable and fast thanks also to the girls, Noemi and Beatrice, always available to meet customers' needs, fast and smiling.
