We had lunch on Easter Sunday. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Gerry and served by Daniele with professionalism and kindness. All very good, fresh fish and prepared according to tradition. We will definitely be back.

A restaurant worthy of bringing the Taranto culinary tradition to the top. My husband and I had lunch here on Sunday morning, the restaurant was full, we thought we would have to suffer the usual consequences (slow service, noise in the room, standardized courses). Everything was, however, a pleasant surprise: apart from the acoustic civility of the other guests, perhaps accidental, we were struck by the accuracy of the service (Jerry and Daniele in the room, perfect), the absolute sincerity of the answers to some questions ( “it's not time for sea urchins, enjoy the stuffed mussels”) and the goodness of all the dishes. Starting with the stuffed mussels, delicious (yet everyone in Taranto offers them, not so good), continuing with the first courses (homemade tagliolini with clams and perfectly cooked paccheri with prawn sauce), then a baked sea bream really excellent, finishing with delicious desserts (a tart with fig and almond jam and a very enjoyable Lecce-style "pasticciotto"). All served with extreme courtesy, competence and in more than acceptable times. The price is more than reasonable, in fact, lower than the average for high-quality local restaurants. We will certainly return, it's worth it! The location, right in front of the Mar.Ta museum, allows tourists to combine the useful (an immersion in Taranto's museum culture, of which we are proud) with the pleasant. Highly recommended!
