La Battigia In Rio nell'elba

Excellent location, practically by the sea; fine food, excellent service.

We have just concluded our week on the island of Elba, we came to eat at Battigia twice. Top quality food, exquisite dishes, the tuna tataki and tuna tartare are highly recommended. Courteous, kind and professional staff! The owner is very kind and always with a smile! Highly recommended!

We stayed at Battigia at the end of August 23, there were 5 of us including 2 adults and 3 children, two of whom had celiac disease. We were greeted with a smile and had a very good time. First of all we took 3 oysters to eat on the beach in front while admiring the sunset with a good head of bubbles. Everything top, both the glass of Franciacorta and the oysters, Gillardeau, super..! Oysters and glass 28 euros, I would say more than honest given the quality and the location..! Then we sat down and had 3 courses to share and two desserts. All very good and super available to make a pasta dish with gluten-free pasta that our two children really enjoyed. We spent the right amount for the place, the quality and the service. Small constructive criticism, in the fried food there were a lot of vegetables in proportion to the fish..! However, everything was perfect..!

Penso che ho mangiato il pesce e devo dare 5 stelle...tutte meritate. Il titolare sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Prodotti freschi e di qualità. Ottima anche la scelta dei vini. Il personale giovane, allegro e professionale.

Ho mangiato bene, ma i prezzi sono davvero elevati

Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso, ma é stata una grandissima fortuna. Il locale é situato accanto a una spiaggia meravigliosa e pranzare con il mare affianco é sempre un surplus. I patti erano assurdi: elaborati e non scontati, impiattati in maniera impeccabile, porzioni giuste (anche se ammetto che avrei continuato a mangiare all’infinito!) e dire che erano buonissimi sarebbe banale. La cameriera che ci ha serviti era simpaticissima e gentilissima. Eravamo all’Elba in giornata ma se avessimo soggiornato più tempo ci saremmo sicuramente tornati. Complimenti davvero!

Sono stato in questo ristorante con amici, incluse tre bambine, per cena. In merito alla qualità del cibo, nulla da dire. Buona. Dagli antipasti (gamberi con panatura panko, crocchette di baccalà), ai primi (riso in brodo di crostacei con riduzione di zafferano e tonno, ai pacchetti con sugo di polpo) alla frittura di pesce. Il servizio è stata la pecca purtroppo: cameriera che si dimentica di prendere l'ordine del vino, e, cosa ancor più grave, accusa i clienti di non aver ordinato certe pietanze (paccheri al sugo di polpo) e non essere stati attenti al riassunto delle comande! Questa pecca grave ha infatti costretto il proprietario ad intervenire, che a onor del vero, si è scusato cercando di rimediare agli errori del personale, anche se ha ribadito l' "errore" dei clienti a non aver ordinato certe pietanze. Purtroppo il voto è una media delle due valutazioni.

prachtige ligging voor een zonsondergang, je moet wel houden van afgelegen en rustig. Een van de beter restaurants van Elba, we kwamen op enkele dagen 2x en aten telkens wat anders. Alles is vers, en ja we moeten toegeven zelfs de frietjes waren lekker.
