Typical restaurant in the center of Taormina. Nice and welcoming place. Varied menu and everything excellent. meat, fish, appetizers, first courses, second courses, pizza and delicious desserts. The restaurant la Botte is in the heart of Taormina centre, we ate pizza and dessert. The pizzas were nice and the toppings were very generous at very good price. I had a pizza with cured ham, it was nice and a lot of ham. For dessert I had a cassata (homemade) that was simply gorgeous. The staff was polite and working very effective.

Table of 6 adults and 4 children, the children enjoyed the spaghetti and we enjoyed the pizzas. We even went back the next day! Shaded terrace and very friendly waiters. The best pizzas eaten in Sicily!!!

Posizione stupenda. Pranzo di lavoro,servizio rapido e puntuale,piatti tutti buoni sia i primi che i secondi di pesce. Nessuna pretesa gourmet,prezzi onesti x Taormina . Tornerò volentieri.

16/08/2023: La cosa più bella e’ che ti accolgono con un sorriso , anche in una settimana dove l’isola diventa l’espressione del turismo , che diventa motore trainante per l’economia isolana , ma che mette a dura prova i ristoratori ed anche gli albergatori . Il locale e’ veramente bello , molto curato, l’ambiente e’ caldo , nel giardino riesci a rilassarti , e quando poi arrivano le pietanze ti rendi conto che devi per forza ritornarci per provare gli altri piatti che erano le seconde scelte . Ottime anche le pizze . Il conto chiaramente e’ allineato ai prezzi medio alti di un isola che in tre mesi deve fare il budget di un intero anno
07/08/2023: Location bellissima in uno dei tanti vicoli di Lipari, noi abbiamo optato per due primi e devo dire che erano buoni, gustosi e la porzione abbastanza adeguata, una pecca la carta dei vini al calice scarsa e il costo di una bottiglia di acqua 4 euro.. un tantino too much.

Paradise

21/11/2023: Vi besökte Paradiso Alacantra som inte ligger i staden men utanför par kilometer. Den ligger i en dal på en höjd med en brant uppfart från den smala landsvägen. Det är en stor byggnad med många sittplatser. Det blev en trerätters lunch med olika specialiteter. Huvudrätten blev den traditionella ” Gris vaden” Den var intressant! Roligt att få prova lite nya rätter!
05/11/2023: Ci siamo fidati delle recensioni e una volta giunti al ristorante ci siamo fidati del titolare. Ci siamo seduti fuori, abbiamo gustato con piacere un buono stinco con delle verdure di finocchio selvatico e un sughetto al pomodoro fantastico. Abbiamo mangiato le ribs, delle buonissime costolette con salsa barbecue e patate. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino rosso al calice. Conto per due persone con caffè e amaro e una bottiglia di acqua 58€.
