Excellent carbonara, friendly and courteous staff, fast service. The restaurant is that of the sporting club, a simple and spacious environment. Possibility to eat outdoors too. Very good coffee

All too good!!! The carbonara... the best there is. Tender artichokes cooked divinely, meat like it once was, a flavor you won't forget. Low prices. It's always a pleasure to come back. Seeing is believing.

Reading other reviews we decided to try the first courses, the supplì, the side dishes and the dessert. Everything really good! The bread was also fantastic. The service was fast and attentive. Regarding the prices we found them average. However, there were 6 of us and we took 11 supplì, 6 first courses, three side dishes, a pizza, a tiramisu and two coffees, 3 waters and a liter of house red wine, 26.00 euros per person. (No one took a second course) You rate it 😉

Siamo stati recentemente al ristorante "La Carbonara d'Oro" dopo una partita di calcetto, e l'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Le porzioni erano abbondanti, soddisfacendo appieno le nostre aspettative, e i piatti erano gustosi e preparati con cura. Vorrei inoltre evidenziare la gentilezza e la professionalità del cameriere, Fabio. La sua cortesia e attenzione alle nostre esigenze hanno contribuito a rendere la serata ancora più piacevole. Nel complesso, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della nostra visita al "La Carbonara d'Oro" e lo consigliamo a chiunque cerchi una piacevole esperienza culinaria in un'atmosfera accogliente.

Si torna sempre dove ci si trova bene o anche dove si mangia bene. Potrei parlare dell’abbacchio (una delle loro specialità) ma mi soffermerò come sempre sulla semplicità disarmante di antipasti e contorni rigorosamente della tradizione. Supplì… che ve lo dico a fare. Carciofi alla romana, la perfezione meravigliosa che raddoppiata anzi quadruplicata e per finire o meglio per iniziare, le puntarelle… fatevi portare abbondante pane o della pizza bianca calda perche la marinatura di alici, aglio, olio e aceto è sublime. Scarpetta acconsentita fin quando tutto è finito. Per poi chiudere con la cicoria ripassata, ideale sulla pizza bianca calda. Devo aggiungere altro? No. Lo aggiungerò la prossima volta optando con un menù di primi piatti (altra loro specialità). Buona esperienza alla Carbonare d’Oro.

30/03/2024: Great accommodation in the center of Rome. Excellent price-quality ratio. The staff was very nice and helpful, even if some of them didn't know much English, they tried very hard and were always very nice. Cookies and drinks replenished every day. Tea and coffee with a coffee maker in the rooms, of course soaps, but even slippers and toothbrushes with paste. The breakfast in the cafe next door was smaller but great (hot drink, juice and croissant of your choice). Even though the hotel is very central, we never had a problem with noise, nothing could be heard through the double windows. The room was also equipped with air conditioning and heating.
29/03/2024: Beautiful hotel at a really nice location, close to everything. Prices were way lower than in other hotels around but the service was stellar. Drinks, coffee, tea and some sweet snacks in the rooms were replaced every day for free, all of the staff was VERY helpful and VERY nice. I couldn’t have imagined a better stay than this. The rooms were small but that’s more than enough for a place like this. Or you can pay just a little bit extra and get the Superior room which is bigger, with a bigger bathroom aswell. Windows are double sealed so you don’t have trouble with the noise from the street with restaurants and bars below especially at night and the mattress was one of the best ones ever during my years of travelling and I had no trouble with sleeping the whole night. Overall, this was one of the most memorable hotels for me, especially because of the service of the staff and the location. A big thank you to everyone.

02/04/2024: Really good and affordable food for the family. It’s not a 5-star restaurant, but it was an excellent mix of quality and affordability for a family of 5.

Everything delicious: from the vegetables (Roman-style artichokes, spinach, broccoli - this is how the Romans call turnip greens) to the second courses (coda alla vaccinara, saltimbocca, lamb), passing through the first courses (bombolotti all'amatriciana and tonnarelli, bacon and artichokes) . A journey into traditional Roman cuisine. The service was also much appreciated. Honest prices.
