First place we ate after our arrival in Rome and a success!! The waiters were super friendly and close, the atmosphere was incredible and the food was delicious.

A lot of Italian locals seem to go there and the lasagna is really delicious. Definitely eat it.

We had Large Pasta Pesto Prawns and Risotta with Seafood. The taste was really good. Our palates had a good time 😋 Roasted potatoes as a side dish was great!

Typical trattoria with Roman culinary dishes. Small but welcoming environment. Helpful staff. Fast service. Good appetizer. Pasta with ragù and amatriciana with a little too much sauce. Risotto with porcini mushrooms to be improved.

Fantastic food. The artichoke salad was recommended by our very professional waiter and it was fabulous. Everything he recommended was great. Love it.

Food was good but it was very oily and salty. Also in general it had too much spice. Also my food took a while longer than others though that was understandable because we had a larger group.

09/05/2024: Typical restaurant, atypical staff, the owner who yells when you pay, the cook who puts out his cigarette in the kitchen. But an atmosphere closer to the people.
08/05/2024: Off grid, very reasonably priced, amazing food and a wonderful host. Well worth walking away from the Colosseum to find this chill oasis

Trattoria Dell'Omo

06/04/2024: Delightful Roman neighborhood trattoria behind the Basilica of S. Paolo. From the 60s to today, the usual Abruzzo-Amatrician management that never disappoints. A single restaurant, wooden paneling, red and white checked tablecloths and dishes that are loved by Rome and the world. The kindness of the managers with the elderly mother at the controls and the two children in the room, attentive and generous with chatter and anecdotes. A few new faces in the kitchen but the level is always good and you leave satisfied not only in body but especially in soul... Recommended to everyone but especially to those who also seek human contact at the table... BRAVI.
31/03/2024: I had agnolotti with ragù, lamb with grilled finger and for dessert tiramisu. Everything delicious! Very friendly staff and clean place! Absolutely coming back.
