I’ll be honest - I don’t have anything to compare this schiacciata con l’uva to, since this is the only one I’ve ever eaten. All I know is that it’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. The two ladies running the bakery were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and very patient with us as we made our selection. The grape schiacciata was absolutely out of this world. We also got a piece of their regular schiacciata with olive oil, which was a lovely treat. All in all definitely worth going a little out of the way for - it’s a great (less touristy) corner of Florence and just really fantastic food. From now on I will plan all my Florence trips for September 👌

01/04/2024: Ate very well. The Florentine steak was very good, the only flaw was a lot of confusion and in fact they brought the wrong dish but overall ate well
31/03/2024: Excellent tavern..excellent quality prices..friendly staff is available.. possibility of purchasing excellent quality homemade products with honest prices...a good point of reference for my next trip to San Lorenzo/Florence. I highly recommend it ... Thank you so much guys... Excellent tortelli for everything ...

18/11/2023: Vi son stato diverse volte in estate e nonostante il caldo estremo il posto è molto ventilato…Migliorerei gli aperitivi.. infatti avendo richiesto un rabarbaro scecherato ( molto semplice sulla carta ) son sprovvisti della materia prima nonostante i vari tentativi di reperimento altrove in zona .. hanno comq ovviato offrendomi gratuitamente una valida alternativa… complimenti a tutto il Personale . 28/09/2023: The evening air was magical as we attended the dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Firenze, Al Fresco Restaurant. The service and food provided were exemplary, making the experience all the more pleasurable. We opted for some of the more traditional options from the menu, which featured a variety of classic Italian dishes. However, we chose gourment pizza and gelato for dessert. A must visit when you're in Firenze.
