I really love this place. The portions are small but it is ok. It is not classic Mexican food, but nice fusion. The cocktails are the best. The place is small, tables are close to each other or some tables don’t have a nice location to sit. So be careful when you do the reservation. But the staff makes their best effort to make you feel comfortable.

Locale per tutte le età stile mexicano, con cucina che richiama il territorio. Grande scelta di cocktail veramente ben dosati a base di Mezcal e tequila. Piatti non preconfezionati con tortillas, nachos e salse fatte da loro. Mezcal e tequile di alto livello. Personale giovane, gentile e preparato.

While in Rome, we found this place. The food, drinks and atmosphere were great, but the owner put it over the top. Talkative, thoughtful and intentional- he’s curated a nice retreat for Mexican food lovers with vibes of Oaxaca, Jalisco and the like. Cheers La Punta Team! Keep up the wonderful Mexican vibes.

It's really a wonderful place, even if the place is a bit small. The cuisine is Mexican reworked to the limits of a starred cuisine, therefore it is too expensive. But once in a lifetime it can be done. The Mezcal-based cocktails are amazing

Mexican cocktail bar with cuisine, in the heart of Trastevere. I went with my girlfriend and we had a great time. In addition to the excellent cocktails (based on tequila and mescal), you can enjoy some truly interesting Mexican cuisine specialties. We had two cocktails and two tacos each (excellent), as well as nachos with guacamole and mini-empanadas (excellent). We spent around €50 each, leaving more than full. The bill is the sore point, certainly high for the type of place, however with an informal atmosphere. However, considering the high quality of the products and the excellent service, I recommend it for those who want to try, for once, a different and pleasant experience.

We only found this place by accident after visiting the family-run leather shop across the street and were very pleasantly surprised!
I said I wanted gin&tonic haha, and bartender said they only make cocktails based on tequila or mezcal. Woohoo! My kind of party. We tried 6 different cocktails (hey, don’t judge!) and had hard time deciding which was better.
If you like a solid cocktail (not by amateurs) - this place is highly recommended 🥳👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Posto visitato più volte e sempre una garanzia, qui si respira il Messico e tra drink e shot il tequila e le sue declinazioni possono incantare chiunque. Un punto di riferimento del bere bene a Roma.

Food was really really good. Beef tartare and beef steak tacos were my favorite. Preferred the soft taco more than crispy. My family kept reordering the prawn taco.
