Il Vicolo di Caruso

15/12/2023: This is the place with one of excellent Italian cuisine accompanied with good serving suggestions. Decor makes internal atmosphere authentic and gracious. We visited IL VICOLO several times and had Lasagna, Ravioli Ricotta, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Mushroom Fettuccine. Everything was divine: Lasagna melted in mouth and left aroma of cream, delicate Ravioli were so astonishing as it would be feeling a blossom. All meals have been cooked just after order and we had time to chat before having them. We've been looked after by heartwarming Amedeo as the best guests with compliments and cuisine tips. Grazie mille signore Amedeo!

01/04/2024: Good Lasagna . But not the best!
31/03/2024: Going by the poor reviews ( which I saw after sitting at the table ) I was kind of sceptical. But our experience was average, not so bad as others . We ordered: Drink Aperol spritz - good but overpriced at 8 euros per drink. Fire de Zucca - fried zucchini flowers - was very oily .avoidable. Pizza Diavoletta which was thin crust and tasty, certainly not frozen one. Chicken with potatoes and barbeque sauce was good but overpriced for 1 piece of fried / roast chicken and few potatoes for 18 euros and few shreds of salad. Barbeque sauce was so less ,could have been more. Service was bit slow . Food was overpriced. Location is good and the restaurant was almost full on a Saturday afternoon.
