La Sirena In Tavernola bergamasca

5 stars well deserved. Quality, welcome, variety of the menu, freshness of the dishes, prices. We tick all the boxes. Plus, the view is superb!

We are located in Sarnico on the beautiful Lake Iseo. Some friends, natives of Bergamo, pick us up to take us to Tavernola Bergamasca where the "la Sirena" restaurant is located. Internally the place looks like a normal pizzeria without any stylistic pretensions. Externally, the large terrace directly overlooking the lake fully compensates for the aesthetic "flatness" of the room. The owner turns out to be an extremely kind and helpful person. We ordered a mixed fish starter and as a main course the mixed fish from the lake. The products turned out to be extremely fresh, a factor testified to by a girl who was at our table, extremely intolerant to preservative agents in fish products, and who did not have any allergic reaction. In conclusion, I admit that I had a very good time and, if I were to return to those areas, I would gladly reply.

Restaurant on the lake shore with lake view, I stopped during a bike ride, I had lunch with salmon fusilli, squid with peas, mixed salad, sparkling white wine and coffee, all good, served by the beautiful brunette Genny. It doesn't matter that they served me after two workers who had arrived after me and who hadn't put the cruet on the table. Clean bathrooms, paid only €12. Excellent location, very well done, 5 well deserved stars 👍 this was the first review and I leave it in full while the stars drop to 4 as the lady I found at the house was clever by making me pay for the quarter of wine I drank (I didn't have got water). Furthermore, since it was Friday, there was no fish for the second course. Another disappointment: I paid €15 instead of €12

Good service and attentive staff. Food is tasty and prices acceptable. For lunch they have daily menu (at least during the week) but one should ask. Not much English spoken.
