So good, even my daughter who normally complains loved the calamari and her pasta ragu. Sword fish was very fresh and delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Come here and get away from the hustle of the Ballaro street market.

It was a real blast from the past, this place reminded me with great joy of my grandparents' house, both for the simple location and for the traditional Palermo food and the top-notch welcome from Lollo, the perfect host 🤩. We ate mussel soup, sardine meatballs, pasta with red mullet and fennel, prawns and cherry tomatoes and mixed frying. Abundant portions and above all cooked like at home ❤️. Truly honest prices and a lot of humility and kindness, rare virtues nowadays. There were also some tourists, who I saw were really satisfied, also because the service is quite fast 🤗. We will definitely return to taste the pasta with the "fat" and above all we highly recommend it, because even if some people probably complain that the shape is missing, what is certainly not missing is the quality and the substance, and for me this is the most beautiful business card 😍.

A real tavern like you can't find anymore. Very kind and informal. Abundant and genuine traditional dishes. The sardine meatballs are unforgettable. We had 10 wrapped and enjoyed them at home!

this is a very local spot, off the beaten track, expect great food and truly italian service (be sure to read menu ahead as they’re not very patient) the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, incredibly generous portions, absolutely delicious, best squid pasta we’ve ever had. for the fried calamari, the size of the calamari was so large and fresh, firm but tender and perfectly fried. not too greasy didn’t taste like oil. just absolutely incredible, wish we ordered to servings. - 1/2 bottle of white wine - 2.00€ - nero di seppia - 8.00€ - calamari fritti - 10.00€ total for 2 = 24€

Typical, good-natured trattoria, with traditional dishes made with care and simple but very satisfying ingredients. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff.

Trattoria situata a due passi dal famoso mercato popolare Ballarò, quindi in pieno centro storico, varietà di pietanze tipiche siciliane, dal pesce alla carne, tutta roba fresca genuina a km zero e cucinata ad arte. Prezzi popolari a cui una famiglia può tranquillamente sedersi a mangiare. Consigliatissimo
