The staff here was so welcoming and kind. Beer was cold. Food came out fast. They also give you bread with olive oil and balsamic. Service was excellent. The gave us multiple complimentary drinks. But I don’t know if that’s the standard or just us. Either way it was very nice of them. We got the pasta with beans and seafood. The sauce was delicious. Plenty of mussels, clams and shrimp. We also ordered the braised oxtail. Very tender. Sauce was amazing. Had to dip the bread in it. All in all, highly recommend this place. Don’t know when I’ll be back in Rome. But I’ll be coming here again.

Everything was perfect: the service, the atmosphere, the cuisine (top top top)! The prices are very affordable, the advice is very good. We had a great time. I recommend !

We ate on the terrace and everything went very well. Very nice server. I recommend the beef carpaccio and the truffle ravioli. Very good value for money.

Our first day in Roma near the Vatican was rainy and we were tired. We started with an excellent Cabernet from Montepulchiano. We selected the mussels. They were presented with a red sauce and not over cooked. They brought us more delicious bread without asking. We sopped up the sauce. We agreed to try their ravioli mushroom truffle special. It was also excellent. We then had their fried artichoke. It was unlike any artichoke we had tried before. We ate the whole thing- stalk and all. It was delicious. Finally, we finished with premise-made Tiramisu. It was creamy, with dusted cocoa and not too sweet. The host then brought us a complimentary Limoncello. Nice. The staff was very friendly and we left happy.

We’ve been going to this restaurant yearly when we visit Rome since 2005. It was our favorite, go-to where we knew we’d be happy with the food and service. It’s under new management. We tried it last June and it was terrible. This time the filetto alla griglia al pepe verde was a thick, raw steak with few peppercorns. Our two entrees (secondi) added to €41. We were charged 58. On the flip side, the salad was good and the cotechinocon lenticchio was good. All the food and wine are overpriced.

04/04/2024: Very comfortable environment. The cuisine presented various choices, the dishes are full, the condiments are of quality, while for the pasta I expected something more but the porcini mushroom dish was still good. The prices, even if I refer to Easter, are a little high, let's say around 30 per person without second course but with Easter starter divided into two, first course, half wine, homemade dessert. For the house wine I definitely expected more. It must be said, however, that they were very kind in offering us something extra beyond what we had ordered. The only thing, I would ask for slightly more initial time for the choice but I understand that it could be a catering technique. Well done, rating 7.5
