The new incarnation of the historic "Le Gole di Amatrice": now in the hands of the new generation. Very pleasant surprise: very tastefully renovated, intimate and welcoming environment; kind, polite and smiling service, but spontaneous and without any affectation; and above all excellent cuisine, including Roman classics and some variations, in the name of greater lightness but always tasty. All delicious: fried boiled meatballs, tonnarelli alle Gole (cherry tomatoes, courgettes, bacon, pecorino), chocolate soufflé. Absolutely honest account... not to be missed.

I was invited to dinner last night for a birthday at this restaurant. Very welcoming place, young and very friendly staff, good food. I had a burrata and spectacular fried artichokes as a starter, and a first course with tonnarelli, artichokes and delicious bacon. What else can I say... guys keep it up ( dogs allowed)

Best restaurant in the area!!! Young but competent staff, they offer excellent cuisine. Among my favorite dishes I recommend fried vegetables and boiled meatballs, the choice of desserts is excellent, the tiramisu is a must.

I have dined here several times now, in my opinion the best Roman cuisine restaurant in the area. Excellent food, especially the tonnarelli cacio e pepe and the fried vegetables. The environment is intimate and welcoming. A warranty.

Tastefully furnished, friendly and courteous service. A good glass of wine accompanied a broad bean and chicory soup, a first course with artichokes and bacon and an amazing tiramisu to finish. Each dish made with care. I advise!

Environment with a warm, welcoming atmosphere in which time seems to have stopped (fantastic!) Soft music. Kind and smiling staff. Right portions including the relative prices. The fried meatballs and the broad bean and chicory soup are very good. The first courses are also good ( fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and pappardelle with white deer sauce). The salted caramel cheesecake was also very popular

Servizio impeccabile. Personale giovane, attento, scrupoloso e gioviale. Locale da fuori rimasto old style, ma dentro è più piacevole e curato. Anche se andrebbero sostituiti i tavoli o, per lo meno, levati i nastri da tutti i lati. Antipasti molto buoni, la burrata fresca e deliziosa. I primi non sono risultati memorabili.

25/03/2024: We enjoyed one of the best meals we had in Rome at Da Emilios . This family run restaurant was a pleasant surprise being so close to our AIRBNB rental. We met the entire family from Mom cooking in the kitchen, to Dad coming out to the table several times during the meal to be sure everything was good, to the brothers waiting the tables. We were told by the family that their Roman Artichokes (Carciofi alla Romana) were the best in Rome. This was confirmed by us after trying them at several other restaurant's after trying theirs...none came close !
21/03/2024: Emilio's friendliness combined with the professionalism in the kitchen of his wife and son in looking after the diners are a guarantee!! ...and so the tradition of Roman cuisine is made in the most appetizing way possible. Don't miss the rigatoni with pajata and Roman-style saltimbocca. Artichokes are sublime for their tenderness! Finding yourself at Emilio's is a joy for the palate! Familiarity and simplicity combined with a now rare friendliness here in Rome are welcome in this place which exudes all the characteristics of the beautiful cuisines of the past. We started with a tasting of fried battered anchovies and marinated anchovies, just to accompany a first sip of good wine to toast together, but the joy began with the rigatoni with pajata (excellent), the homemade agnolotti with ragù and spaghetti with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, just to enjoy a first demonstration of how Emilio's wife knows how to take care of the taste of preparing real traditional dishes with fantastic results with now rare ability! Continuing with an ossobuco, some veal rolls with mashed potatoes and what mashed potatoes - it looked like the one prepared by grandmother - the joy of flavors was revealed in all its beautiful composition!! In short, excellent quality food, preparation according to tradition and perfect execution make a stop at Emilio's a very welcome moment of serene joy! And the joy doesn't fade when it's time to pay the bill!
