In the Abruzzo National Park nature reserve near Monte / Passo Godi on the Sannite regional road in an enchanting place there is the Rifugio lo Scoiattolo restaurant Very popular in winter.... favorite destination for motorcyclists The restaurant offers very good dishes of the day Or from the menu with a wide choice The typical "cascina" room is very welcoming and pleasant, full of light, large windows to see the beauties around Very fast service with the possibility of being in large groups, just book The food is good whatever you order Finally, if there are deckchairs available to rest outdoors, even better if it is sunny

We often go there when we stay in Passo Godi! In winter it has something special having these beautiful windows overlooking the snow-capped mountains.. the food is good and overall the prices too. I recommend making a reservation because even though there are some restaurants in the surrounding area, they tend to fill up easily! It is also very convenient for those who prefer to have a hot coffee having the bar right at the entrance.

Abbiamo mangiati qui per pranzo, il servizio e il cibo sono stati eccezionali, abbiamo mangiato un primo locale e una transumanza spettacolare, tagliere di formaggi e dolci spettacolari, molto contenti ci ritorneremo e lo consiglieremo sicuramente.

Ristorante molto ampio, in vero stile di montagna e con relative pietanze. Ottima la pasta al pesto abruzzese (una aglio, olio e peperoncino con erbe selvatiche di montagna) e la polenta. Conto economico.

03/01/2024: Io ho ordinato una minestra con fagioli, ho aspettato il giusto tempo per averla ma ne è valsa la pena, era buonissima. Le patatine fritte erano asciutte e croccanti al punto giusto. Abbacchio ben cotto e tenero. Tiramisù ben fatto. Bravi
