No... Even the legendary OASI closes... For me, living in Rome but originally from a nearby country on my father's side, it was the classic "must"... Everything perfect, from the location to the food, from the staff to the general atmosphere positive and relaxing... And then what memories, from childhood with family to twenty years with friends and beyond... Unfortunately these so-called "modern times" have no respect... Very bad thing.

31/03/2024: It should be illegal to call it pizza. Sort of reheated and burnt bread, badly seasoned and poor hygiene.
27/03/2024: I had been to spontini about 25 years ago, in the side street of Corso Buenos Aires in Milan. And I remember it was spectacular. This Spontini is a franchise and is obviously not comparable. The price is neither high nor low. What they call less abundant includes pizza, coke and dessert with coffee, €18 per person. Pizza as per photo

23/02/2024: Excellent croissants, but very slow service
04/02/2024: A beautiful discovery. This chain has some locations scattered around Milan (and I believe also in other parts of Italy). I tried the ones in Piazza Oberdan with my family. Small place (it has some seats outside for the summer) but tastefully furnished in a modern way. Open kitchen, bar counter at the entrance. You can eat pizza, some first courses, some second courses, hamburgers. The choice is not among many dishes, but the ones we tried (Roman gnocchi and hamburgers) were well prepared and with quality ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff. A good choice for a casual evening to eat or drink. Satisfied!
