We had a few great times in this restaurant. The food itself is really something amazing, especially we enjoyed homemade pasta and tiramisu. The service is specific, it’s fast, but I actually expected smiling and hospitable Italian faces, but this is not the case. However, I guess we need to accept it as a part of culture specific. Overall I do recommend this place and would visit it in a future if possible

Locale arredato minimalmente, un poco retrò, ma ben pulito e con atmosfera calda (quasi fosse una vecchia osteria!!). Il personale gentile, sorridente, presente. I posti a sedere sono limitati, quindi consigliabile prenotare. Le portate, tutte a base di pesce, sono generose e belle alla vista: un rimpianto? non aver scelto come primi piatto "la carbonara di mare", ma sarà un'ottima scusa per tornare.

01/04/2024: Fantastic place with delicious food and very kind waiters! We ordered oysters, grilled fish, mixed fried fish, profiteroles and trifle. Every dish was delicious and prepared quickly even though the restaurant was full!

La Piada E Il Mare

02/04/2024: It was once a very nice place, with shabby chic maritime furnishings and a grass carpet, where simple and tasty things were offered at street food prices. Over the years it is becoming anonymous, the menu has been revised for the worse, the piadinas are less tasty and the prices have risen significantly. Now they also serve spritz, but prepared with Sprite and served without any accompaniment (but charged as at the bar). Luckily they still have dishes that are worth the visit, the first courses and the fried seafood for example are always a guarantee.
11/09/2023: Once upon a time there was piadina and the sea... I say There was because now the prices are at a self-service restaurant. I'll give you some examples: tagliatelle with sausage ragù €11, seafood salad €14( with lots of potatoes, cherry tomatoes and olives so they make more volume), fish skewers €4.5/5 per piece, drinks prices same as restaurant. Conclusion: you have increased too much for the type of place.
