L'Orecchietta In Candela

Recently charged my electric car here and enjoyed a fantastic lunch under the gleaming sun. The wine selection was delightful, perfectly complementing the ambiance of southern Italy. Very nice place, good food, worth going back

A very respectable meal in a historic hotel with ancient charm, along the journey to Taranto

Restaurant found by chance at the Candela exit. Pleasant surprise. You eat well, you pay right. Fast service, friendly staff

Well looked after and managed place. You enter a welcoming entrance hall with various instruments and tools from the past. I tried both lunch and dinner, as well as the magnificent pizza. Advise.

The place is surrounded by greenery, which conveys tranquility and peace... the interior is very characteristic, you are immediately greeted by a museum-like collection of historical objects that accompanies you to the table. The service was very present and only imprecise at times, the manager was very friendly. The cuisine is average for a good trattoria, the starters a little less so. Try the grilled caciocavallo, very tasty. Reasonable prices.

I went for dinner two days in a row, a good place both for parking with space for trucks and for the restaurant, the only flaw is that they make you sit down and tell you the menu of the day verbally without a menu with written prices in fact then you go to the checkout and find out the price...for a liter of water, a risotto and two ends of chicken thighs with baked potatoes I paid €25......

Very characteristic restaurant, also as a museum of many now unobtainable items; surrounded by greenery on the slopes of Candela...absolute peace. Very friendly and professional staff, the lunch was all of excellent quality, without waiting long for the first course. For intolerances, highly recommended for both GLUTEN-FREE and LACTOSE-FREE. Absolutely worth trying

Gusto, sapori di una volta, ottimo

Ottimo ristorante. Locale stupendo con ingresso in cui sono state posizionate moto e vespe d'epoca. All'interno della sala principale ci sono moltissimi attrezzi da cucina, in rame, tra contenitori padelle tegami e bilance. Molti dei quali appesi al soffitto. Cibo buono. Stinco con patate e salsa buonissimo. Il dolce sfoglia ai frutti di bosco direi proprio di no. La sfoglia non era freschissima e i frutti di bosco sostituiti da una glassa senza commenti. Un dolce del genere rovina quello di buono che avete nel menù: quindi o da migliorare o da togliere. Le camere non saprei: non valutabili quindi do 4 in tema ai voti della sala e ristorante. Posizione veramente strategica e comoda con ampio parcheggio. Prezzi giusti. Vengono venduti anche prodotti del luogo come l'olio di Candela ad un ottimo prezzo.
