If you want to eat a high quality sandwich there is no doubt that Gigione is number 1. Exceptional quality of ingredients, starting from the bread, to the side dishes and finishing with the meat which is exceptional (I highly recommend the deluxe rare Chianino sandwich). Starters are normal, nothing special and the ribs aren't bad either but I've tried better.

Premetto col dire che frequento il locale da 2 anni e devo dire che non ha mai abbasato la qualità, anzi è migliorato volta per volta. Credo che faccia il panino più buono che io abbia mai mangiato, utilizza solo materie prime di qualità e ovviamente, essendo una macelleria, le carni che compongono le varie pietanze (antipasti, hamburger, bacon...) sono di propria produzione. Personale gentilissimo con cui ho stretto amicizia e anche molto paziente dopo aver assistito a certe scene da parte della clientela.

The best sandwich in the world? From Gigione, simple. Highest quality products selected in a rustic location (the butcher's shop). You just have to enjoy the organic food and ingredients they have selected for us. I took: Classic bread Chianino deluxe (medium cooking) Cormons pit Salad Mayonnaise Bacon Egg And I loved it! nice location but too confusing. setting too small to manage on-site sales and consumption. people going back and forth to choose... order... collect... too fast-food style pretty good food. The "gourmet" omelettes are very particular and tasty.

Non sarà il miglior panino d’Italia,sarà un luogo dove mangiare e bere benissimo al di fuori della carne 🥩 xke sono specialisti in burger ma comunque ottimo format

È un take away con possibilità di sedersi al tavolo ma non è proprio la cosa più semplice del mondo data la mole di gente che frequenta questo locale nel week end. Ci siamo stati più volte ed ho potuto apprezzare, essendo una macelleria, la grande qualità della carne. Ho trovato degli antipasti vari e di altissimo livello, un po’ meno il panino che sembra essere un un accozzaglia di ingredienti. Consiglio vivamente per chi ne è amante la loro bruschetta alla genovese, veramente sublime!

17/10/2023: After a tour of the Amalfi Coast, our tour guides brought us here for one of the best meals we had in the Sorrento area. The fresh farm to table ingredients made the entire meal outstanding. The service by the owner and his staff made the experience event that mush better. This is a place that should not be missed.
27/08/2023: Stumbled across this place by following a sign en route into sorrento. We pulled up in the car park & questioned whether the place was open or not. Very unassuming. However, we got inside and we were met with a great welcome, superb view and nice looking place. We had a variety of dishes including what was described as a ‘crazy pizza’ loaded with endless toppings, A vegetarian pasta dish and mixed meat grill. All was first class. Nice experience that I’d repeat in a heartbeat 👍🏻
