Mercato Coperto Ravenna In Ravenna

I went to the covered market for work-related reasons. I had to meet a client and I arranged to meet him there. When we entered, the bartenders at the bar located exactly in front of the entrance didn't even say hello even though we had done so. We sat down and after 10 minutes of waiting, making the barmaids understand that we wanted to eat (they saw me but pretended not to see me) I went to the bar where I was told that they didn't do table service. After telling him that, at the very least, they could put up a sign, or, better yet, tell the customers who came in, I ordered. Ordered three things and forgot two... I had to ask for a tray to carry what I requested, they wouldn't give it to me. Upon leaving, as when we arrived, no greeting and/or thanks. It's a shame, I love this place, I find it really wonderful. Since it was renovated it is really very beautiful, it could use a little more of the Romagna hospitality that makes us famous throughout the world.

I didn't have high expectations but I was pleasantly proven wrong. The dishes are really of excellent quality. The place is nice and the service is fast

I wanted to stop for lunch. Very busy and I must say the service was a little slow. I really liked the environment. Also the variety of products but we preferred to go out and have lunch elsewhere.

Ancient fruit and vegetable market in the center of Ravenna recently renovated in industrial style. On the ground floor there are various bars and outlets selling local and typical products as well as a coop. Prices above average. On the first floor there is a bar/restaurant which organizes various evenings with dinner and music for various age groups both in winter and summer

Wife and I just had some of the best pasta in all of our travels. I was brought to tears, no joking. Wonderful venue, food, and service. I may have to stay.

Questo ristorante, sito nel vecchio mercato coperto di Ravenna, offre buon cibo con porzioni abbondanti e un servizio sufficientemente veloce e gentile. E non sono poche qualità. La valutazione media dipende esclusivamente da considerazioni relative al rapporto qualità-prezzo. Antipasti e primi piatti tutti oltre i 15€; secondi oltre i 20 (tutto scritto nel menu, certo). Sono prezzi adeguati a locali di altro genere (recentemente siamo stati in un segnalato Michelin a Piacenza che aveva un menu a prezzi più convenienti) e, credo, sarebbe sempre opportuno rapportare i prezzi a quello che è il contesto…

We had lunch here on our two days stay in Ravenna. They have different restaurants where to sit even though it's the same menu. They have a pasta station where everything is made fresh. We tried it and it was delicious and perfectly made. Food was very good and it would come out as soon as you were ready. Both servers were very professional and friendly. We really enjoyed this place and will definitely return.
