Superb location in the center of Lecce, our waiter Vito super super kind and friendly like the owner..... I highly recommend you..... The dishes are superb🥰🥰🥰🥰

Walking through the center of Lecce you can't help but stop for lunch/dinner at Messapia. Exquisite, typical and traditional dishes. Informal place and possibility of staying inside or, if it's a nice day, outside admiring the beautiful Castromediano square. Vito, the waiter, is disarmingly kind and friendly and welcomes you with a disarming smile and professionalism. Very kind and friendly owners. Highly recommended.

We were on the Salento road, we stopped for dinner on the advice of Mr. Donato who hosted us. We ate really well, the pilgrim's menu was excellent. The owners were nice and hospitable, the gentleman is also a chef, he explained many things to us about his food and their traditions. I recommend it to everyone and also to traveling friends.👍

Located in the historic center of Lecce, it is possible to taste all the typical dishes of the Salento tradition. Honorable mention to the owner who was helpful, kind and friendly...as well as correct.

Messapia Enoteca is a half block from Piazza Sant’Oronzo and is hard to miss. It has plenty of outside seating on the small piazza Castromedio Sigismondo around the corner from the famous Basilica di Santa Croce. There are many many little restaurants, bars and enoteche in Lecce, catering to all types of customers. Messapia probably strikes locals as more of a tourist spot; it has a very broad menu, and the crowd there was pretty international. Suffice to say, though, that we had a delicious lunch of Puglian specialties there, a nice cold rosato, and all for a decent price. We'd also stopped there separately for some caffe leccese. So...a perfectly okay dining spot in a great central location.

La comida estaba increíble y la atención de Giuseppe fue insuperable, se nota que le gusta su trabajo y nos hizo la estancia muy agradable.

Ambiente accogliente sia per il servizio fuori che dentro il locale. Buonissima la cucina, con piatti della tradizione locale leccese e pugliese davvero molto gustosi e il personale davvero molto gentile e cortese, pronto a consigliarti.

Locale dall'atmosfera vibrante e intensa , con suoni e sapori che si fondono alla cortesia del personale. Siamo stati attirati dalla musica di Gianni Epifani che col suo sax ci ha accolti in una piazza molto suggestiva in una stranamente "cald" serata di novembre. Consigliatissimo
