12/03/2024: Small note, before starting to write the REVIEW, watch out for the chef of the external restaurant, he tried with my wife, mother of three children, while I was at the table and I had to get up several times to get food having put in total My wife and I also had difficulty after finding out
unfortunately there are very small men and this little man was the example.
We ended our holiday yesterday, the structure is enormous and perhaps this is the first problem, it becomes inevitable to create inefficiencies,
Let's start with the negative points:
We arrived and here is the first problem, there is no parking for disabled people, I have never seen anything like this, the problem is solved, we go in to check in and here is the second problem, a queue of over an hour to check in, between the other opens at 4pm, so take it easy if you arrive in Sardinia in the morning, but I have to admit that they made me skip the queue due to my disability,
We arrive in the room, and in addition to being quite old, the cleanliness is zero, pay attention to the power plugs, when you unplug the battery charger don't touch the plug, you will burn your hand, it is still the same as it was 40 years ago, when they built the structure,
We decide to go to the beach and here are the first three rows of paid umbrellas and the last four free but you have to show up at seven in the morning to get an umbrella, since there are twenty of them, for a structure that has the capacity to accommodate 1900 people , you can't have 20 umbrellas, the "canteen" for me are not restaurants, they give you a lot of food but the quality is not excellent and what's more, you have to queue for at least 20 minutes to get a first course, if you manage to get put in the "le terrazze" canteen avoid having to queue to eat, unfortunately the waiters are often rude, the Italians are very kind and polite, they often run out of carbonated water.
We have made the "ALL INCLUSIVE" formula but we still ask ourselves:
In what sense?
All inclusive includes natural and sparkling water, wine and flat beer, even a coffee you have to go and get it at the bar and pay 2 euros for it, there is nothing included.
PLEASE NOTE WHAT STATE THE CANTEENS ARE IN WHEN WE ARRIVAL, IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY ON MY HAND, THERE IS A FLY, THEY ARE PRACTICALLY ON EVERYTHING THAT IS EDIBLE IN THE CANTEEN
Watch out for wild boars at night
Let's move on to the positive points:
Breath-taking view,
THE train actually runs every ten minutes and is truly the TOP,
There is good entertainment and the guys who work at the reception are really the TOP
Sardinia is spectacular.
