Compliments We randomly stopped to eat here, it was raining and we had just left the sanctuary. He offers the "torta al testo" stuffed with salami and cheese, there are already combined proposals. I really like cheese and I got some advice. The pecorino di fossa is very good. Highly recommended

If you want to eat torte al testo and you are in Assisi, we recommend you stop here: a typical place with excellent products, especially the truffle, and the portions are also generous. The two very kind and smart managers. You can take it away or stop to eat there among excellent Umbrian wines. Wonderful environment and normal prices. Super recommended!

Nonsolocinghiale is not a simple shop selling excellent typical local products but is also an experience of the senses in the world of Umbrian cuisine. The owners are delightful and very competent people, they let us taste many products and recommended the best. We will definitely come back to visit them and buy many other good things.

Place selling typical Umbrian products. Friendly and professional welcome. Excellent products. Fresh text cake filled with excellent local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by good wine. A few side tables that don't hurt. Highly recommended !!!!! not to be confused with the porchetta seller next door.

Small grocery shop with the possibility of having lunch with a delicious torte al testo with 100% local products of the highest quality. There is also the possibility of sitting on a few tables and calmly tasting a spectacular torte al testo. Polite and friendly staff. Advised Thanks for a great lunch!!

18/03/2024: You feel good and you eat just as well! Very nineties but we appreciate it! Well done to the old-fashioned owners, therefore unique hospitality!!!
21/02/2024: I really liked the environment, it is decorated in a very elegant way. The service is really excellent and very sweet, everyone is kind and helpful; and I found no problems with the food which was truly delicious. I highly recommend the gnocchi with salmon. The only note I could make is that at the beginning of the evening, the heating was off and it was quite cold.

04/04/2024: We have tried both the rooms and the restaurant in countless circumstances and we have always found great professionalism towards customers; cuisine and comfort of the highest quality. In particular we would like to point out the courtesy and education of all the staff. Even for this aspect alone, it is an experience that is absolutely recommended.
29/03/2024: This family-run structure is a corner of beauty, hospitality and serenity set in a holy and peaceful place such as Assisi and, furthermore, particularly recommended for its proximity to the Basilica of S. Maria degli Angeli. The atmosphere you breathe, thanks to the courtesy and kindness of its owners and managers, make your stays unique experiences of life and sharing. The standard of the food is excellent as is the accommodation in the rooms, carefully furnished and perfectly maintained in all their aspects. From the Cantico it is possible to easily reach on foot or, for those relatively distant, by taxi or bus (available in the immediate vicinity), all the places dear to Franciscanism and art. We recommend everyone, for the good of body and mind, a stop at the Cantico.....you will be enraptured....and you will be the one to say it.....Seeing is believing!!
