My review is based exclusively on my personal experience at Osteria A Piedi Pari, which took place on October 1st during a lunch with three people. SERVICE: Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lady who escorted us to our table. After a short period of waiting, we ordered, having already prepared our order in advance to facilitate the service. The choice was two starters, two first courses and a second course for me. The waiter asked us if we would like to receive all dishes at the same time, to which we agreed. This decision was made to prevent those who had ordered first or second courses from having to wait longer than necessary. However, although the arrival of the water and wine was timely, the food took a considerable time to be served. After an hour of waiting, neither the starters nor the bread have yet been brought to the table. It was evident that the kitchen was facing difficulties, as other tables had been waiting for some time. After urging on our part, everything finally arrived together: a mixture of fried foods, a selection of bruschetta, first courses and side dishes. However, the second dish I ordered never appeared. While the other diners began to eat, I remained picking here and there among the plates. Meanwhile, those who had opted for first courses had already finished eating, while my second course was slow in arriving. I therefore decided to turn to the lady who had accompanied us to the table (presumably one of the owners) to ask for explanations regarding the long wait for my second course. I pointed out that everyone else had already finished their meal. At this point another waiter (presumably the other owner) intervened and stated that I had never actually ordered that dish. In conclusion, despite having paid the bill without problems, I must admit that the overall experience was not satisfactory and I would not feel like returning in the future.

Went here early evening on opening. Was able to get a table for our group with the owner welcoming us with some beer. Pasta options were delicious, with carbonara, pappardelle al cinghiale and tortiglioni a piedi pari all nice. Plenty of dessert options including tortino al pistacchi (choc-pistachio cake) and tiramisu. Give it a try!

Sinceramente all’inizio ce ne stavamo quasi per andare via perché eravamo entrati e nessuno ci badava, manco un saluto. Poi non male sia bruschette di antipasto sia le pizze. Trattoria caratteristica di San Lorenzo.

Trattoria adeguata al quartiere popolare e frequentato da studenti. Piatti romani tradizionali, come i carciofi, veramente ben fatti, le puntarelle e la trippa un po' indietro di cottura e con sughetto, di conseguenza, leggermente liquido ma comunque saporita. Ho apprezzato moltissimo le fettuccine con le puntarelle, mai mangiate prima, gustose e delicate al contempo. Vino della casa, servizio volenteroso e conto giusto per il contesto.
