Osteria ae Botti In Venezia

It was a Monday night on Giudecca and a lot of places to eat are closed. We decided to just walk to see what was available after a very unhelpful concierge encounter at the Molino Stuky. This was the most pleasant looking for atmosphere and menu looked interesting. We are so glad we chose to eat here. Staff was attentive and friendly- had a home vibe but was a bit elegant. We shared a capresse salad, husband had pasta and clams and I enjoyed meatballs with polenta- and then we ordered dessert. I can brag saying we ate it all! Food was wonderful, wine was good and we loved our experience. We told the server that we'd missed dinner at "our place" the night before and were so glad we found this place- he suggested perhaps we have found a new place to be "ours" and I think we may have!

Bell'ambiente, bella atmosfera, servizio solerte e accogliente. Buona la cucina. Ottimi i tagliolini alla malamocchina (con un sugo di trito di vongole e cozze). Carta dei vini limitata, ma di ottima scelta. Il conto e' un po' sopra le righe, ma ormai a Venezia (come in tutte le localita' turistiche) mangiar bene costa...
