Very welcoming place, a few steps from Piazza del Campo. Attentive and courteous staff! The owner was very polite and hospitable. Delicious food, I highly recommend the pork fillet with braised spring onions and potatoes.
Normal prices. We will definitely see each other again when we return to Siena.

Had lunch here two weeks ago, the two guys who run the place manage to immediately put you at ease, the place is very large, but at the same time well-kept and welcoming.
The cuisine is of quality, the explanations are clear and illustrated with professionalism.
Fair prices, they also have no problem offering coffee and bitters at the end of the meal, if we were to return to Siena we will already have a point of reference!

Dinner for couples: pork fillet with baked potatoes and caramelized onion, very good and recommended, good pici all'aglione. 2 glasses of Bolgheri red wine, as desserts, fresh Catalan cream. Heel turn with surplus on the entrance blackboard "If you are in a hurry you have a good horse"

Delicious food: even the simplest dishes are masterfully crafted offering interesting and non-trivial flavors (and are presented with adequate care)
Efficient and courteous service.
Very nice environment with a successful ancient/modern mix.
Low prices (around €10 for the first courses, around €15 for the second courses)

So so. I was invited to a birthday party, they made us wait 40 minutes without even giving us a bottle of water, in the end we had to ask for it. The food is decent, in line with the taverns in the centre.
Response to the owner: I can swear to you on whatever you want that neither water nor bread was brought to us, for more than half an hour no one paid any attention to us even though the waiters came by often, in the end, as I said, we had to ask for it because we were dying of thirst . In general, the whole lunch was very slow, we finished at 4pm. Instead of getting offended and writing comments in questionable Italian, it would be more useful to take the criticism and make use of it to improve a truly poor service.

Non lontano dalla Cattedrale, il ristorante è in una sala colorata ed accogliente; il menù rimane prevalentemente nel solco nella tradizione locale, senza cercare innovazioni originali ma con un'esecuzione gradevole di ricette consolidate. Un pranzo comunque piacevole, senza sorprese né in positivo né in negativo.
