Osteria & Cucina In Monterotondo

06/05/2024: We have been loyal customers for a long time. We went for lunch on Sunday. The ravioli with provola and truffle (we hadn't tasted them yet) were an explosion of aroma and taste. For those who don't know it, it is a point of reference in Northern Rome (it is also located along the Via Francigena). The restaurant is inside an ancient 4th century building (hence the name) and the furnishings are well suited to the context. Small but welcoming, upon entering it conveys a sense of familiarity and conviviality, reinforced by the courtesy and kindness of the staff. As a result the service is friendly and pleasant. Everything is sealed with a cuisine of a notable level, both meat and fish based, with Sardinian delicacies included (given the origins of the chef "Baldo"). An ideal place to spend relaxing moments, forgetting about time...Thank you, Riccardo and Aurelia.

01/05/2024: Exceptional porcini mushroom fettuccine. I go there on purpose.. excellent fettuccine ragù.. good bruschetta
